This is a wonderful old delicatessen and bakery with the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. It’s quite small and intimate. Don’t let the humble exterior dissuade you. Step inside and you’ll go back in time 80 years to what Paris was like in the 1930s. There’s no indoor seating, but that doesn’t take away from the experience. The owner is a charming lady who recognized me on the second day that I was there, and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. As I understand it, many of their customers are return visitors, some of whom have been coming back for years.
