Quel écrin pour les pâtes de fruits, on s'attend à une merveilleuse surprise.
Mais quelle déception à leur dégustation. Très difficile d identifier un goût beaucoup trop discret.

Chocolates were fine, 9 small pieces for 14euros is obviously expensive but theres some complexity
The caramel though, 22euros for this small bag is simply crazy. 135euros per kg
The taste is quite unique, although it's really not incredibly good. It's like hard caramel candy mixed with soft chewy candy, it's almost half liquidy in how malleable it is. The taste is interesting too, on top of the usual caramel taste there's another hint, although again it's definitely not good enough to warrant the price.
Not sure why it's so popular, if you must come here, maybe try one or two caramels at most, definitely don't get the whole bag.
For reference pictured costs me 37euros. Ridiculous

Jacques Genin est très strict sur la qualité des produits. Les chocolats et les pâtes de fruits sont excellents. Les pâtisseries (tartes, galettes des rois, ...) sont pour moi les meilleurs de Paris (j'en ai testé beaucoup). La qualité est constante depuis plusieurs années.
Toutefois, prenez votre mal en patience pour les contacter, ils ne répondent jamais sur les réseaux sociaux et il est compliqué de les appeler.
Je recommande fortement !
