Very average place. I didn't feel anything special here. The hot chocolate was okay, but way too much and overpriced. How about offering a small hot chocolate for 6 Euro in order to fight food waste? Because most of the people cannot consume the entire drink, especially when it comes with whipped cream. I also think it's but a hype about the hot chocolate. Any average country-side restaurant in Switzerland offers such hot chocolate...

Fantastic hot chocolate and chocolate cake! The hot chocolate can easily be shared between 2 people. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating is set up around the sidewalk so there is plenty of people watching. I got lucky with a sunny day at this café, though the park is not exactly visible because of the street parking available. The menu is in English and French.

Such a cool place. Very good hot chocolate and close to the Eiffel Tower if you need a pit stop. Also very touristy though.

One of the best hot chocolate in Paris!

Famous for their hot chocolate, Carette Cafe is always busy, this means I have to try it since I'm in Paris.

Overall service was great, I came early and during winter, I didn't have to wait long for a table.

Hot chocolate was rice and velvety, a slight bitter taste due to dark chocolate, it's very liquid and runny, there was no cream to add to increase the volume and texture.

It's not worth the line but it's a nice experience.

Overrated!!
We had croissants, chocolat carette (hot chocolate with whipped cream) and a cappuccino. All were not good. The croissants are worse than supermarket grade, the hot chocolate tasted like the powdered kind (nesquick), the whipped cream tasted like the supermarket kind (we are in paris!) and finally the coffee in the cappucino was burnt. They don’t offer decent milk alternatives (only almond and soya). They dont offer half-cream or skimmed, only full fat. Waste of time and space in your stomach. That being said, the atmosphere, especially in the outdoor area was nice.

Equipe extremamente educada. Comida de excelente qualidade especialmente o chocolate quente (você precisa pedir). Preço um pouco alto mas vale muito a pena. Recomendo!

Their hot chocolate is better than Angelina's. Is it worth the price? Maybe not. Their croissant amande is...mediocre. Didn't finish it . Spent 15€ for those 2 items. Better go somewhere else

Ahimè brutta accoglienza, il cameriere all’ingresso molto scortese e scontroso…mah forse è la prassi qui a Parigi per chi non è francese.

Locale super cozy con un fascino d’altri tempi, qui mi sono davvero sentita a Parigi. Le viennoiserie, che ti danno il benvenuto, essendo esposte nel bancone all’ingresso, sono tanto belle quanto buone. Ci sono anche delle formule petit-dej e una scelta dalla cucina per colazioni più ricche. Sicuramente uno tra i posti in cui vorrei tornare!
