La chambre en elle-même était agréable, la salle de bain, un peu petite, mais rien d’anormal à Paris

Hôtel à taille humaine, bien placé (sortie métro av. de l'opéra), aux chambres confortables (bonne literie, machine Nespresso), service discret
et efficace. Petit dejeuner complet avec d'excellents oeufs brouillés. Plusieurs restaurants dans la rue dont" la petite régalade" avec spécialités aveyronnaises et le fameux "Harris' bar". A proximité des spectacles ( Bouffes parisiennes, Olympia) et Louvre.

Checking into Hotel Choiseul Opera was anything but smooth. Despite the advertised 3:00 PM check-in time, the front desk staff provided vague and unhelpful responses when asked about early check-in availability. Arriving from a long-haul flight, the lack of certainty was frustrating. The receptionist casually stated the hotel was fully booked and, surprisingly, could not confirm whether a room would be available even at the official check-in time. This lack of professionalism and preparedness set the tone for what followed.||To their credit, the hotel did allow us to store our luggage upon arrival, which was a small relief. However, given the long wait until check-in, we opted to find a nearby café for breakfast and later secured a day hotel for much-needed rest.||Returning at 3:15 PM, we found only one receptionist handling check-ins, causing an additional 15-minute delay. Once checked in, we were assigned a triple room on the fourth floor, accessible via an elevator so small it could accommodate just two people or one person with large luggage—a logistical challenge for families or travelers with baggage.||The room itself was underwhelming. While functional, the slanted ceiling posed a real hazard. Both my child and I repeatedly hit our heads, an unacceptable design flaw that should have been disclosed at booking. Furthermore, temperature control was an issue. The air conditioning system was ineffective, and the remote did not work properly. When I contacted the front desk, I was advised—quite absurdly—to wait 20 minutes because the remote “might be hot.” This dismissive response highlighted a lack of attentiveness to guest comfort. In the end, we had to keep the window partially open to regulate the room temperature, which raises serious concerns about staying here in warmer months.||Despite these shortcomings, the hotel’s location is its strongest asset. Situated within walking distance of the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Sacré-Cœur, Eiffel Tower, and Latin Quarter, as well as major shopping and dining areas, it offers convenience for tourists looking to explore the city on foot. However, location alone does not compensate for subpar service, uncomfortable accommodations, and a lack of basic amenities.||Final Verdict:||While the hotel’s proximity to key attractions is a plus, the overall experience leaves much to be desired. If you choose to stay here, request a lower-floor room to avoid the elevator hassle and avoid rooms with slanted ceilings. Additionally, be mindful of potential temperature control issues, particularly in summer. The luggage storage service is helpful, but given the range of options available in Paris, travelers may find better value and service elsewhere.

Location is basically really really good especially if you want to use metro its basically was right next to the hotel.

For walking distance check the map 1 day I walked to Louvre, Eiffel and Champs-Élysées. (got tired a lot but really good returned with metro directly to hotel)

About staff was helpful did not have any problems. There is a luggage room at the hotel that you can store before or after you check in which is really cool.

ELEVATOR IS REALLY REALLY SMALL CONSIDER YOUR LUGGAGE !!!

About the Room I stayed in 1 bed 2 people room. Room was good the bathroom was really good had no problem with the heat.

No slippers I guess thats how they do in Europe because no other hotels in EU (Germany, Austria, Netherlands and France) gave me one which is really annoying. They need to bring it back.

Thats all from me did not had the breakfast why not just enjoy the Paris bakeries.

I would come back to this hotel without any problem.
