This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host and is about a 10-minute walk away. Overall, it was average and a bit underwhelming — I wouldn’t strongly recommend it.

The cassolette of Burgundy snails and wild mushrooms was disappointing — the snails were overcooked and lacked the expected tenderness and bounce. The parsley sauce was quite mild and didn’t bring out much of the mushroom or snail flavor.

The semi-cooked duck foie gras had a decent texture, but the Sauternes jelly was overly boozy and overpowered the dish. The soft sorghum bread on the side felt mismatched, and the overall combination lacked harmony and depth.

We also ordered a steak (can’t remember the exact name), but it didn’t leave much of an impression — not very juicy or flavorful.

The only real highlight was the crème caramel dessert, which had a nice touch of orange zest. It was refreshing, balanced in sweetness, and stood out from the rest of the meal.

Top bistrot Lyonnais à Paris. On y trouve des plats typiques bien cuisinés dans une ambiance bistrot sympathique. Tout est savoureux et les prix sont très raisonnables.

The onion soup was fine. The frog legs and foie gras lacked taste, in my opinion. The beef bourguignon was really not good because the meat was undercooked. The potatoes were prepared separately from the beef and added to the dish later before serving it; therefore, they were hard and lacked flavour. The veal also lacked flavour. The duck was quite good. I would recommend onion soup and duck. I tried crème brûlée for dessert—it was tasty, but the consistency was incorrect.
On the other hand, the servers were friendly.
