This place was recommended by our guide, so we decided to give it a shot—especially since it was one of the few spots that had mille-feuille on the menu! I’d been curious to try this dessert for a long time. It didn’t disappoint as a first experience, though I must say it looks more spectacular than it tastes.
We only ordered the onion soup, as we had already eaten dinner elsewhere. The waitress who served us was friendly, though she seemed a bit overwhelmed, so the service wasn’t particularly fast. We didn’t mind that, but unfortunately, we were charged for a glass of wine we hadn’t ordered. We only noticed after leaving, so we went back, and she refunded us. It’s unclear whether it was an honest mistake or not.
All in all, despite the appealing menu, I don’t think I would’ve chosen to return even if we’d had more time. The flavors were average, but I wouldn’t discourage others from giving this place a try—there’s a lot of variety to explore.

Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Service gut mit der gewissen Kühle. Das Ambiente in der Galerie ist einfach schön.
Ich hatte eine Vorspeise und Nachtisch. Das ist dann schon eine vollwertige Mahlzeit.

Great cosy atmosphere, fantastic food and drink, and great service. VERY GOOD FOR GLUTEN FREE, as allergens are listed on the menu, and there is a nice selection to choose from if you're gluten free

Nous allons au bistrot Vivienne assez rarement mais c’est toujours un plaisir.. Le service y est très sympa et le cadre agréable. Nous avons profité de la terrasse.
Le tarama d’oursin et ses blinis étaient parfaits. L’onglet de bœuf écossais et le ceviche de bar - avocat très bien cuisinés. Nous avons terminé par un millefeuille croustillant et une coupe Vivienne avec une glace de chez Berthillon.
Bref, une très bonne soirée !

Wonderful Lunch Experience – Highly Recommended!
We had a lovely lunch at Bistrot Vivienne and couldn’t be happier with the experience. We ordered two main courses – the lamb shoulder and the cod fish fillet – and both were absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and beautifully presented.
We also had dessert, which was just as impressive. Everything from start to finish was spot on.
The service was equally excellent. Our waiter was polite, attentive, and very helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome.
If you're looking for a charming spot in Paris with great food and impeccable service, this place is a gem. Highly recommended!

We ordered desserts and drinks earlier, but they served people who ordered after us first. We ended up waiting way TOO much longer for ours.
AND when we asked if this delay was normal, but the staff just ignored us and walked away before we could even finish our question. Every single staff member was unfriendly the whole time and the service was really unprofessional. There were no locals around, which makes me think this place might be more about tourists than providing good service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — people deserve to know how bad the service is.

Very nice place, great service, great drinks. menu is a little limited. We got beef onglet, ordered medium rare and they were allmost rare. Decided not to ask for more cooking though, but probably should have.

tres joli cadre, bien lumineux, serveur qui s'est occupé de nous a été serviable, attentionné, observateur. les plats que nous avons choisi etaient tres bon. le capuccino etait bien reussi selon moi. On reviendra volontier. Continuez de fournir le meilleur service. Courage.

Le restaurant est excellent, localisé dans un cartier très chic. Je recommande fortement si vous souhaitez manger bien dans un cadre ancien. Le service exclusif et soigné et des plats sont savoureux!

The service was very accommodating. We were a big, slightly drunk, group that walked in late looking for sustenance.
I ordered the beef tartare, which was nice. And we had some good Provencale rosé.
