We had a very relaxing and enjoyable evening at Caffè Stern. Authentic Italian cuisine in an historic setting. Professional and gracious service, interesting and creative menu, not standard/expected Italian fare. Creative decor. Leisurely pace between courses. Not for when you need a quick meal!

Unfortunately this place is not one you want to choose for lunch anymore… I’ve been here a number of times but never for lunch- It was an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience- three different people greeted us before someone seated us- two people touch table one man twice, but couldn’t seem to find menus - the first one came by for a third time and my husband (we are 20 minutes in at this point) asked again for menus (yet another person showed up with water- but said not to order with him- well, we need menus to do that!) - after another 10 minutes we got up and left…confused as to the management incompetence to have this happen…I hope the owners read this, it wasn’t busy and maybe there’s a good reason…went around the corner to Traders where staff are on top of running a restaurant…sorry just the truth!

Un sommet ! Dans le cadre atypique de cette ancienne lmprimerie au cœur d'un des très beaux et fameux passages couverts parisiens, on profite d'une cuisine excellente et impeccable aux accents vénitiens. Le service aimable et compétent ajoute au plaisir gastronomique. Bravo aux équipes qui officient là !
