Standing in the doorway while Madame checked to see if we could be seated, a knowing Parisienne looked at my lame French speaking self then down at her cassoulet, pointing at the dish, then back at me and smiled. That’s the moment you know: you didn’t mean to be here, it was happenstance, but you have arrived and it will be good. Madame was delightful and we followed her suggestions for a meal that was more pleasing and delightful than the starred meal we would have the following day. The ambience was comfort without fussiness, the place spotless, the music from the kitchen like a perfect indie record store reminded us that people and their personalities create great food. It’s been three months and I still think of it; I’ll be back in a few weeks and cannot wait to see what’s for lunch. And when I move to the 20e at the end of the year, I hope to be a regular. But I will make a reservation. Merci Madame!

Io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati a Parigi per qualche giorno e abbiamo avuto il piacere di mangiare in questo locale. Piatti belli e di ottima qualità, titolare gentilissima e ha avuto la premura di spiegarci i piatti in inglese (non conosciamo il francese). Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (con 20 euro c’è un menù in cui puoi mangiare primo o secondo, e un dolce + pane e acqua). Ottima la carne e i dolci. Se dovessi tornare a Parigi, andrei sicuramente ad assaggiare qualche altro piatto!

Nouvelle découverte sur Paris, ce restaurant du Sud -Ouest frise l’excellence. Cela fait très longtemps que nous n’avons pas aussi bien mangé. Un accueil hors normes et une gentillesse comme jamais.

"Caçolet" comme à Toulouse aux haricots Tarbais (IGP, C&L Ponsan-32), ses quatre viandes.
Il est disponible dans le menu.
Mais je reviendrai essayer Lou hitge gras (le foie gras, Maison Paris-40) mi-cuit par nos soins, chutney, toasts
