This evening we had few dishes att Le grand barn. Very welcoming friendly staff ,
We ordered as was in the menu St.jacques,tempura,tataki,ris de Agnes,and beiget as dessert! White and red wine! Water!'we were asked sparkling or still water! Ordered stillwater ( we were not offered or informed if we wanted tap water or not) charged 6 euros for a bottle off water and the bottle arrived without a seal. Bread arrive nicely! And the wines! St jacques after ,you could see it it was under grilled lettucevery thiny piece of St jacques, was defintily expecting more for 14 euros it seem to me it was more lettuce, pesto than St jacques! Having White wine we were expecting tempura off asparagus! No arrive Tataki de Canard cold, sorry but att list should be warm but not cold!and two thiny slices! I continue we my White wine ,my friend start to redwine,than arrive tempura of asparagus with huge amount off sabayon sauce! ! Sábayon had very strong flavour off burnt taste (suppose to have smoked taste) and i couldnt recognised any sabayon sauce ! completely cold! Probably the best dish was the last Ris de agneu! Flavour wise! But cold! We hade nice and plenty off bread They forgot to offer us wine glasses for our red wine ! No its not good enough when yoy charge clients over 14 euros for small dishes ! Dessert was desaster a cold donut! Shame for Paris when you order beignet 9 euros, cold,from directly from the fridge, with shame full creme anglaise! They have to seriously get their sct with the kitchen! The service cant carry all the burden being nice
