Wow! If my husband and I had to define the perfect location, the most charismatic boutique hotel and friendliest staff we'd simply say Hotel Du Continent in Paris. The theme of continents of the world is beautifully depicted in the walls and decor. Our room (54) overlooking the charming Rue Du Mont Thabor was quaint and perfect for our stay. I will be honest and say the aircon was not great but we were given a fan to help combat the heat of summer and that coupled with aircon was sufficient. We walked between 15 and 25 mins to all the sites - Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Notre Dame and the Louvre. This beautiful hotel is only a 2 minute walk from Place de la Concorde and the beautiful gardens. Also Very close to 2 metro stops that connected us to all of Paris. No need for taxi.
I have to mention the wonderful staff. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and the ladies were so friendly and accommodating. I also must give A special mention to Anny, the front desk manager. She was So helpful, professional, approachable, kind and very informative. She went out of her way to accommodate us when we had to extend our stay. I fell in love with Paris and a lot of it had to do with our stay at Hotel Du Continent. Thank you

Very nice hotel. Did not give 5 starts for rooms because it’s not a 5 star hotel but excellent for location and price. Staff also friendly

Chambre minuscule, un climatisation très bruyante, pas d'eau chaude pour une douche le matin et un petit déjeuner a 12euros avec des viennoiseries de la veille ....;Bof Bof Bof

Great location within walking distance of multiple metro stops. The place is wonderfully maximalist with incredibly friendly staff. The elevator was classically French only allowing two people on board - it would be hard to achieve this with any actual luggage. The shower was a waterfall and the wifi was great.
