HÔTEL DUMINY VENDÔME ^{* * * *}

Fantastic stay here at this boutique hotel that was fully renovated recently. Great location so walkable to Louvre, close to Invalides and close enough to Eiffel Tower, Rue Cler and Arc de Triomphe if you are in decent shape. Quiet street. Our double room was spacious, modern, well appointed, great bed, ok pillows, with plenty of outlets and consistent A/C.

Breakfast is small but well-appointed, matching the hotel, recommended to start your day in EXACTLY the same way every day ????. Combo of bakery/pastries, cold cuts and cheeses, scrambled eggs and beans, and preserves.

Credit to the renovators on this bathroom - this was likely the strongest shower water pressure I have experienced worldwide - combo of rain shower and ultimately adjustable hand shower will blow your hair off if you so wanted, plus points for that, would make HansGrohe proud.

The super-bright coloring in the arrival lobby was not replicated upstairs. Super friendly front desk. BBC only English TV channel, in case you need that.
Our “exec” room had a small kettle and Nespresso machine. My only (pet) peeve was that they insisted on exchanging ALL towels every day, despite us carefully following their rules to “save the planet”. I do NOT need to have everything replaced every single day.

The hotel is lovely. The staff is exceptional! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris who wants to be near all of the tourist sites.

We loved this charming hotel. The room was small, but an incredibly efficient use of space with all the modern comforts we need. Very quiet and comfortable too. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for accessing so much. Most of all, the staff was so kind and helpful. We will recommend this hotel to everyone going to Paris.

I researched hotels in central Paris between $350-$500/night and chose this hotel. It is an amazing value, for the quality of the rooms, the environment, the location (in a quiet street in the 1st arrondisement, one block from the Tuileries metro stop on the 1 line), full breakfast and welcoming staff.

The rooms are small, but have comfortable beds. The shower is strong and you set the temperature one time. The bath towels are large and luxurious.

I highly recommend this gem of a hotel!

We booked this hotel for our birthday trip to Paris, expecting a Deluxe room with two large windows, as shown in the photos on their website. However, upon arrival, we were assigned a room (for disabled people) with no external windows—only a view of the hotel's internal patio. The room was dim, lacked natural light and we didn't want to stay there.|When we approached the reception to request a room change, we were informed that no other rooms were available, and our room is Delux too. The earliest they could accommodate us was the following day after 12 PM, which was inconvenient due to our tight schedule. When my husband suggested canceling our stay, we were told we'd still be charged €1,000 for the two nights, as it was too late to cancel.|The situation escalated when my husband asked to speak with a supervisor. The receptionist became visibly upset, accusing us of being rude and making personal comments about our relationship (like addressing to me - how you. can live with husband like that (whaaaat?) . This unprofessional behavior left us feeling uncomfortable for the rest of the evening.||The next day they call us at 8 a.m. ,and moved us to another room, thanks god, but the overall impression was bad. I never experienced such an attitude from the hotel, and I travel a lot. ||While the hotel's branding suggests a high standard, the reality fell short. The mattress quality was poor, the materials used were subpar, and there was limited space for personal belongings in the bathroom. Additionally, the pictures on the walls were uneven, and we found long hair in the shower after cleaning.||Given our experience, we would not recommend this hotel.
