Overall, a very nice hotel. Large, comfortable, well appointed rooms for Paris. Our room even had a small balcony. Very quiet rooms (even facing the road). Friendly staff and a great guest services team (thanks Gwenn!) that made our stay special by surprising my wife with a gift for her birthday. Location is, like most places in the city, convenient, as the landmarks are spread throughout - and it's close to the Opera metro which has a good number of lines to get anywhere else. Rooftop bar had an amazing view of the city including the Eiffel tower and Sacre Coeur.
Less impressive is the food... Unfortunately, when you pay 5* prices (or points) you expect 5* dining. Based on having travelled and stayed in hotels all over the world, I can safely say it's a 3* experience, maybe worse. The rooftop bar sardines on bread were literally a can of sardines and some ordinary bread, for 25 euro... The breakfast is really disappointing with stale, overcooked cheap bacon and sausages and some meh hard cheeses. The made to order omelettes are literally rubber, and all specialty egg dishes cost extra?! (For reference, other 5* hotels we've stayed in had incredible breakfasts) Even the croissants were unimpressive. Mind you, this is in Paris, with the best croissants and omelettes in the world, so it's extra surprising and disappointing - we may just eat out every day to avoid wasting meals.
No real gym to speak of, it's a tiny room with a handful of meh old equipment.
Still give this hotel 4 stars based on the rooms and location, but undoubtedly, there are better options for the price.

Stayed here for six nights. Booked a one bedroom suite with balcony. New hotel only a few years old. Room was big but there is no door separating the bedroom and living area. Balcony overlooks the inner court so is very quiet from outside noise. The room is fresh appearing with lots of light and has hardwood floor. This is the only problem - you can hear your upstairs neighbour walking around which resonates loudly into your room. Pretty much our sleep cycle was determined by the upstairs' neighbour’s schedule. Then housekeeping would come in with banging and furniture movement and more noise into your unit. We were near the end of our trip so we wanted to sleep in more and this not possible as we were awoken every day by noise from upstairs then housekeeping. The terrace is nice to have as there is only two units but no view. Nice to sit outside and have champagne. ||Front staff friendly and helped book a car to the airport. You can get bikes as well to roam around Paris. The view from the upper terrace is nice but you must spend 50 Euros per person to sit up there. ||Only restaurant is California based food so we did not try. The lobby has two old fashioned elevators that you can take photos in. ||Room was great but would not stay again as sleep quality poor. Only good if you stay for a few days and you’re up and out early everyday. If for romance and staying in then avoid.

We enjoyed staying in the hotel and the rooms and location are wonderful. However the dining was awful because smoking is allowed "outdoors," where "outdoors" = an interior courtyard. The smoke immediately filled the room and was intolerable. We were not the only people who ended up leaving because it became impossible to breathe. I would advise against eating here unless the smoking policy changes.

We stayed 6 nights as a family at the Kimpton and felt very taken care of. Our 8-yr old enjoyed treats that the hotel gave us and the adults also loved some complimentary bubbles. The hotel gave excellent dining recommendations, one of our top favorites was Royal Vendôme. Excellent service from all the staff at this hotel. A shoutout to Clemence who was in touch before the arrival and was very responsive to all the questions.

clientèle. Nous avons reçu notre chambre dès le matin à notre arrivée ce qui est fort appréciable. Le petit déjeuner est succulent avec une offre disponible à la carte ou au buffet (il y en a pour tous les goûts). Nous avons aussi déjeuner et dîner à la carte au restaurant de l’hôtel, c’était un pur délice. L’accès au SPA de l’hôtel est très appréciable pour un moment de calme et de détente assurée. La décoration est faite avec beaucoup de goût et le bâtiment est un véritable petit bijou. Notre chambre était très propre et très soigneusement préparée. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet établissement. Nous remercions chaleureusement toute l’équipe en espérant revenir prochainement lors d’une virée parisienne. Merci beaucoup pour ce merveilleux moment.
