Excellent hotel for visiting Paris. You can’t beat the location, as it’s in the heart of everything, all within walking distance. The room is a bit older, but it has charm and more importantly it was very clean. The hotel sits on quiet street, and the concierge and all the staff are super friendly and accommodating. They fulfilled the request for a balcony room and it was a perfect extra touch to the experience.

Hôtel très beau et élégant, situé en plein centre. Les chambres sont aménagées avec style. J'ai particulièrement apprécié la hauteur des pièces et les nombreuses grandes fenêtres dans les chambres. Le personnel est très aimable et il règne une ambiance agréable dans l'hôtel. Je recommande volontiers l'hôtel. Merci beaucoup.

The hotel is perfectly located for visiting so many of the must see attractions in central Paris. It's an attractive, unusual building with lovely helpful staff who provide a really good service.

Great stay, lovely hotel and nice staff. Would recommend. Pretty good location to explore the city near the Louvre and parks. Also not far from main shopping centre. A great place to stroll around near by streets and discover the sites of Paris.

Our second visit to this lovely small hotel. Rooms are small but adequate and well equipped with tea/coffee machine, iron and board and hairdryer and . We were on the 5th floor in a superior room and found it to be very quiet. We slept very well, comfortable bed and functioning air conditioning. The bathroom had a bath with shower. We only had showers and the water was hot and great water pressure.||We took breakfast in the hotel which was very nice with scrambles egg, bacon and lots of other continental offerings - really set us up for the day.||The location is superb, easy to get to many local attractions with a short walk.||Staff very pleasant will definately stay here again on our next adventure in Paris.

POS: A very well decorated and pleasant hotel very near top amenities. Very clean and very helpful staff. We stopped 2 days for our anniversary and enjoyed the break. Bed was really comfortable and decor again clean and very well maintained worthy of 4*. ||NEG: Some room plug sockets were not working. We had to boil the kettle on the floor and also my wife iron her blouse on the floor. The bath mixer tap wasn’t working and couldn’t fathom it out. So had 80 degree shower temp or nothing. No use of the bath during stay. Unfortunately, on the last night we wanted to use the lovely hotel Bar facility near the foyer but it was loaned to a private group/party. This left us feeling Q: did we pay for this bar facility in the price or not. No mention of this potentially occurring on their website, we checked. ||Au Revoir Paris

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à l'hôtel Lumen, accueillis chaleureusement, avec gentillesse et professionnalisme. L'hôtel est idéalement situé, la chambre très confortable et nous avons pu apprécier le petit café et les viennoiseries à l'accueil ainsi que le très bon petit déjeuner. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour enchanté.

Overall, a great experience! The location is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the room is charming. The only downside was the loud noise from neighboring doors closing.

Best staff I met in a hotel. Rooms are very clean, reception service was incredible, and overall experience was great for the 3 nights I stayed there.

This is a hidden gem, close to Louvre and metro and bus stations. The staff are excellent!! Front office can speak English if that's something that's important for anyone. Coming back here for my next trip.

Sono stata pochi giorni in questo Hotel per poter incontrare mio figlio che lavora a Parigi. L’ Hotel e’ pulito e lo Staff in particolare ,il Signore alla Reception , sono stati tutti molto gentili e disponibili. Peccato la camera molto molto piccola . Si potrebbe anche migliorare la colazione

We have just checked out from a 3 night stay at the Lumen Hotel. It was our first time in Paris. It was absolutely fantastic, we had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony overlooking the beautiful street below. The room was a little noisy given the location but the hotel supplies ear plugs. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. The hotel is right in the centre of the Paris, 10 minute walk from the Louvre. We have already recommended this hotel to family who are visiting later in the year and we will return.

The breakfast could be better and i believe your nice hotel deserves better breakfast service, but in general everything was perfect, also breakfast was good and acceptable.

I firmly believe that the location is the best in 1st Arrondissement. During the tour, I was able to join back after taking a short break at the accommodation. The three manager members I met at the hotel desk were very kind, affable and gentle. They were very nice people I met in Paris.

Loved my stay here. The staff was always helpful and polite, even though I didn't speak much French (just English). Very clean and modern feel, lovely breakfast area and great bar for evening cocktails. I Would stay here again!

Hôtel très bien placé au cœur de Paris. Chambre (Balnéo duplex) très propre, très spacieuse. Superbe déco et baignoire à jets d'eau.

The location is also fantastic—conveniently situated with easy access to the Lourve, river walk, and many great restaurants making it the perfect home base for exploring the area.
