I've been coming to this place for about thirty years. It's right in the middle of a neighborhood filled with Japanese and Korean-owned restaurants, yet this spot is run by people from China. Often, not everyone can master their neighbor’s cuisine, but here, the opposite is true. The Katsudon I had was on par with, if not better than, the neighboring establishments—there was an extra level of care in the preparation. Their kitchen (photo) is spotless, and I don’t think they’ve received the recognition they deserve. Today, on a busy Sunday, long lines stretched across the neighborhood, yet when I arrived around 1 PM, not a single customer was there. I hope my review helps bring them the attention they truly deserve.
