If you love cooking and want to shop at the same place French food icon Julia Childs used to shop at , this place has every thing required for a chef from a home chef to a Michelin chef this Paris iconic store has it all.

I had the best experience here - it's a tight space but organized, lovely product and Conrad was super sweet to me and helpful. My first visit in my 30s ???? and I wanted a chefs knife or two. Ended up with two knives and a gift for my mom before heading back to the States. Thank you!

While E.Dehillerin is considered the Mecca for kitchen supplies by Chefs around the world it is extremely claustrophobic in feel as the aisles are very high and narrow - a few people rapidly generate a traffic jam .
Also price are on sheets at the end of the rows - if you like something you need to copy the number down and compare it to the list to get a price.
So much for impulse buys …
It does however an amazing array of supplies of all types - but the prices and potential import tariffs have a chilling on buying anything to import to the U.S.

I was looking forward to visiting this store, and was hugely disappointed. Their inventory was limited, the prices of items (like knives) were not competitive, and the pricing system was weird: you had to walk over to a catalog, and skim through the list to find pricing on individual items. Mostly, though, I didn’t like this store because of the attitudes of the staff. I so rarely find this in Paris. People are so nice normally. But the men here were unpleasant. So I walked out without buying anything and without any intention of returning. (Thankfully, I found another store - TOC - around the corner where they not only carried good quality, well-priced items, but the people were very welcoming and helpful.)

Arnaque/Service non professionnel

J'ai acheté une planche à découper dans ce magasin et ce n'est qu'à mon retour que j'ai remarqué une fissure (sur la photo), ce qui réduit automatiquement sa durée de vie. Quatre jours plus tard, je suis revenu pour la changer contre une planche non défectueuse, mais j'ai essuyé un refus sous prétexte illogique : « Votre planche est usagée et nous ne pouvons pas la changer » (j'avais des éclaboussures d'eau qui n'ont pas séché).

Tout d'abord, il est interdit de vendre des articles cassés, car cela
diminue le professionnalisme du magasin.

Deuxièmement, si le client retourne un article défectueux, il est inutile de déterminer s'il a été utilisé ou non : vous ne pourrez pas revendre un article initialement cassé. Et non, en si peu de temps, je ne serais pas capable de produire une telle fissure.

Au lieu d'un bon service client et de la logique, les vendeurs ont donc choisi la cupidité.

Globalement non recommandé, et mon avis n'est pas le seul sur les problèmes de remboursement dans cette magasin.

소량으로 구입하기에 좋아요. 가격이 붙여져 있지 않아서 물건 고를 때 고민이 되지만 소량으로 급하게 구입해야 할 땐 들려서 구입하면서 만족하는 곳 중 한 곳 입니다. 물건이 많은 것 같지만 종류가 다양하지는 않아서 필요한게 이곳에 없을 가능성도 높아요. 모든게 있을거라고 생각하지 말고 방문하세요!
