We went when it opened and we were on our own, a restaurant to ourselves! The owner was so kind and helpful. I wish we stayed more days so we could visit again. We tried the steak with fries and the mushroom soup and it was amazing. A 10/10 experience ♥️????????

Valentin is a gem for anyone craving authentic French cuisine! The food was delicious, with generous portions that truly satisfied. Our waitress spoke perfect English, making it easy to navigate the menu and feel at ease. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service added to the experience, and every dish reflected the best of traditional French flavors. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience!

Our family (2 adults and 3 kids) traveled around France for three weeks. Last three days we spent in Paris. We have dined in so many places around the country.
On the last night we chose to walk to the closest restaurant we can find in the area of our accommodation and we stumbled upon this lovely cosy restaurant.
We have walked in and apologised for our lack of French and were greeted with such warmth and kindness!!!
Food was delicious and portions were very generous.
Next time in Paris we will visit Valentin again!!!

We’ve been coming to Valentin for a long time. And whenever we have guests visiting us in Paris, or friends looking for recommendations, we always point them Valentin’s way.

The restaurant is a great bistro-style spot, serving many of the French classics (magret de canard, cassoulet, petit salé, onion soup, herring, French desserts, etc), with a great wine list. Valentin, his wife, and colleagues always go above and beyond to provide a warm welcome, explain the menu, and give personalised suggestions. In addition to the main menu, there is always a great list of specials on the board. Those looking to cap off their meal with a classic digestif will not be disappointed — they have plenty of cognacs, eaux de vie, etc. Lastly, Valentin takes a note of inspiration from Argentinian cuisine, with great steaks and a chimichurri pork dish, to name just two.

This was the best meal we had in Paris - and with a super neighborhood-ey feel. Antonin offered unique regional dishes alongside many French classics for my partner, and were very accommodating to me being a vegetarian (which they did not need to be!). Side note - their roast potatoes are the BEST I’ve ever eaten. They made us feel at home despite being obvious foreigners and the only people in the restaurant who spoke only-English. We also got a digestif at the end of our meal and they topped us up for free.

Accueil chaleureux, service bienveillant, des plats bien cuisinés..nous nous sommes régalés, pour moi travers de porc chimichouri, dans un cadre pittoresque. Nous avons passé un excellent moment.Je recommande vivement ???? A refaire

Very authentic and delicious Paris dining experience. They fit us in at 1930 without a booking. Would heartily recommend and look forward to visiting again.
