HÔTEL HIPPODROME ^{* *}

Sewage not just dripping, pouring from the ceiling just above the door frame, connecting the bathroom to the bedroom.The filthy water covered the floor, the sink and all our toiletries. There are large patches of bulging paint, water damage on the wall above the bathroom door. I’m not exaggerating. This is the 4th time in five days our hotel room has had standing brown water on the floor and covering the walls in the bathroom. We were told by the front desk we could not change rooms because all the other rooms were much smaller than the one we were staying in and "you wouldn't like it". We only wanted a room that didn't rain down filth and smell like...well, you know...brown. The only thing they did to accommodate us was give us two fresh towels. After 2 hours, the first day, when the water stopped dripping, someone came into the room to mop and take away all the soaking wet, brown stained towels we’d thrown on the floor to absorb some of the filth. When my husband went to the front desk on the 4th day to ask for a different room, a large thuggish man he’d never seen before but who seemed to be associated with the hotel in some way, told him that there was no water leakage, and that my husband was lying about the whole thing. He then very aggressively told my husband to go back to his room, shut the door and shut his mouth. We have notified BOOKING.com and we will be filing a formal complaint. As for right now, we are currently looking for new lodging. Wish us luck because we don’t feel safe here anymore. UPDATE: when we moved out, one day prior to our departure from Paris, my husband explained to somone of the daytime staff what had happened and we were refunded for 3 days. Too little, too late in my opinion. If you're looking for a place that not even bedbugs would dare stay. Hotel Hippodrome just might be right for you. The IBIS across the street gave us one out of our 12 days in Paris comfort, professionilsm, and hospitality and most of all cleanliness. Go there.

Attention punaise de lit
Suite à ma nuit passée dans cet hôtel je me suis réveillée avec plusieurs piqûres sur tout le corps. Après consultation des avis, je vois que je ne suis pas la seule... décevant qu'aucune mesure ne soit prise visiblement.

J’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel et, après seulement 3 heures dans la chambre, j’ai découvert la présence d’une punaise de lit. C’est inacceptable pour un établissement censé garantir un minimum d’hygiène et de confort.

Ce type d’incident peut avoir de lourdes conséquences, notamment la contamination de mes affaires personnelles.

Je déconseille vivement cet hôtel tant qu’un vrai contrôle sanitaire et une désinfection complète n’ont pas été effectués. Faites très attention avant de réserver ici.

Hotel dwugwiazdkowy ale zasługuje na nieco więcej. Pokój mały ale przytulny z łazienką i toaletą. Śniadanie można dokupić na miejscu. Bardzo miła obsługa. Blisko do atrakcji. Blisko do metra czy resturacji lub kafejek. Parking publiczny płatny na przeciwko.
