HÔTEL LE RELAIS MONTMARTRE ^{* * *}

Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour. L'hôtel est paisible et parfaitement situé. Le lit était très confortable. Le personnel était sympathique et serviable.

Mais il y avait quelques choses que nous n'aimions pas. Il n'y avait pas de salon pour s'asseoir et prendre un verre tranquille à part les canapés à côté de la zone de réception. L'emplacement du rez-de-chaussée de notre chambre juste à côté de la zone de réception a été une déception ; nous n'avions pas de vue et cela ne semblait pas privé. La toilette de notre chambre était ridiculement petite.

We stayed here for 3 nights in early May 2025. On the whole we enjoyed it; the location is great, right in the heart of Montmartre, yet the ambience in the hotel is tranquil and on the whole quiet. The staff were helpful and available if needed. Cleanliness was very good.||There were some things we were not happy with. The location of our room (room 4 if you’re interested) was on the ground floor at street level. The windows were directly adjacent to the street outside. There were net curtains and shutters to provide privacy but when the shutters were shut the room was dark, and when they were open we never really knew if people could see inside. This was a real disappointment. ||The room itself was small and the layout made it hard for two people to use the cupboard for storing clothes etc. The toilet, which was separate to the bathroom, was so small that when we were seated we had to keep our legs to one side. ||We booked online from London direct on the hotel’s website. We made our booking 7 weeks prior to our stay. Although the site's photographs showed bigger, so-called ‘superior’ rooms, we were unable to book them. One such photo is displayed next to this review as I write but is most definitely not of the room we stayed in. We tried many times to book a superior room on the website but somehow we couldn’t. I suspect the hotel restricts the booking of these bigger rooms to certain groups of people but I can’t be sure.||We didn’t book breakfast at the hotel and we were glad we didn’t. The area is full of great places with terraces to have breakfast in the sun.||We had a great stay overall but we doubt we would return to the same place.

Hotel molto carino ben collegato. Ottima la pulizia e l’accoglienza, come la maggior parte degli hotel ha dei bagni molto molto piccoli ma ben organizzati.

Ce fut notre 2e séjour dans votre établissement mais le 1er dans la chambre 504 qui est absolument parfaite ! Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la grandeur du lit et le matelas. La bouilloire est en vrai plus. L’accueil le 1er jour était parfait. Par contre, l’attitude de 2 employés nous a vraiment surpris, connaissant le standing d’un 4*. En effet, mercredi soir, le veilleur de nuit était couché sur le canapé à côté de la réception et conversait au téléphone. Il ne DL est ni levé ni interrompu sa conversation… Quant au check-out le 2 mai, la réceptionniste s’est cantonnée à deux questions: « Vous payez cash ou par carte ? ». Puis: « Vous voulez la quittance ? ». Aucune question concernant notre séjour ni un « bon retour ». Voyageant régulièrement en Europe notamment, c’est la 1ère fois qu’un check-out se passe de la sorte. Cela détonne complètement avec le soin apporté dans tous les domaines dans votre établissement. Cela n’a toutefois pas gâché notre plaisir et nous reviendrons avec plaisir au Relais Montmartre.

Kamer moet nodig gerenoveerd worden! Airco werkt nauwelijks of niet. Raam open betekent veel straatherrie (auto’s en stemmen). Kamer is erg klein…
