La Mère Catherine exceeded all expectations. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was charming and authentically Parisian. From start to finish, everything was just perfect. Highly recommended!

Not too loud at all to talk to each other. We got our seats really fast and waited maybe 10-15 minutes only for food after ordering. We got Caesar salad with crispy chicken, house burger, truffle Parmesan pasta, and fish and chips. Everything tasted perfect! We also tried white wine our server offered depending on our preference on wine (not too sweet)

Nous sommes venus un midi par hasard, ne connaissant pas montmartre et nous avons passé un excellent moment culinaire.
Le menu était délicieux et abordable (41 euros pour entrée, plat et dessert)
Mention spéciale pour la tarte tatin.
Nous avons eu la joie d’avoir Malika en tant que serveuse, son professionnalisme et sa bonne humeur nous ont marqué. Un grand merci à la cuisine et surtout à Malika pour sa qualité de service.

Gläser mit Flecken und Dreck. Besteck nicht sauber. Aperitif schlecht. Wein unterirdisch.
Salat als Vorspeise schlechter Durchschnitt.Hauptgericht ging so. Dessert falsch serviert und wieder abgeholt.

We are here and they were so disrespectful!
They asked if we eat or drink and we answered that we are thirsty and at first we will drink and we will decide after seeing the menu what or if we will eat.
So they took the table cloth from us, motivating that they dont have enough.they had a lot of tables that were empty and with tablecloth on. I told them that I would like to have a tablecloth on the table to eat. But the lady refused saying that is the way her collegue decided.
I would like to add a picture but there is no option.

Très bel endroit au coeur de Montmartre , mon quartier préféré à Paris. J'ai déjà mangé dans d'autres restaurants qui été des attrapes touristes, la ce n'est pas le cas. Contrairement à certains avis publiés, je trouve que c'est un bon rapport qualité prix, nous avons très bien mangé, nous étions 4 et le service était vraiment top. La présentation des plats aussi était top

Nous avons eu Malika au service et j'ai rarement vu une serveuse autant aux petits soins pour la clientèle.

Merci encore à elle, et à toute l'équipe de ce restaurant.

Superb evening! The attention and personal care of the staff was impeccable. The music from the pianist on the night was enchanting and the food was splendid. All together it was an evening that will live long in the memory. Bravo! ????????

Server was rude, had to beg for any service. Food was horrible and had no check backs to see how our food was. Waited 50 minutes to pay for food we didn’t eat. Ridiculously over priced £14 euros for a Fanta!!

15 years and we are back at La Catherine Bistro. Unlike other places, the bistro hasn’t changed. Still the best escargot like 15 years ago, same top quality service and romantically Parisian atmosphere. Thank you Malika for making us feel VIP. You are the example of French hospitality.

Sur la carte, pour les entrées, plats et desserts du jour il serait judicieux d'indiquer le supplément (en €) à rajouter par rapport aux formules "entrée+plat" +dessert" et non le prix du plat (beaucoup de restaurants font comme ça) . Ce n'est pas clair et peut entraîner une contestation de l'addition. Pour les plats servis certains paraissent un peu trop cuit ou qui ont été réchauffés et desséchés, comme les escargots ce jour là. Des commentaires sur Google le signale aussi !
