Sorry for the delay, but we were still travelling. Great room and atmosphere. Chef really does a great job at showcasing the many great heritage breeds that you have in France that are not regularly available elsewhere. Our only 'regret' is that you ran-out of poulet de Bresse!

The food and service were excellent. The staff were kind, helpful and friendly. I noticed both locals and visitors enjoying the restaurant. Le Coq & Fils is a definite must when visiting Paris.

I do not speak French but I want to let the staff know that I was very satisfied with the meal. And I liked being in the bar, watching the cooks prepare the meals. They were very efficient and quite relaxed while performing their jobs.

My friends and I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of others who visited before us. Our experience was lackluster and overpriced. We ordered chicken to share, which thankfully came with sides. The chicken was satisfactorily cooked but certainly not on par with the price charged. Further, the wine was similarly overpriced. The waitstaff was average. We had to request water service even though we had empty glasses on the table. The waiter took offense when we did not want to tip him or have dessert. There are better food places in Paris for the money spent.

This restaurant was one of the happiest surprises of my trip. I read that it had some of the best chicken in Paris, and those reviews are correct. The superb food is matched by the service and view of the Montmartre windmill. I can’t recommend highly enough. Merci beaucoup to all of the staff.

Les volailles sont toujours d'une qualité exceptionnelle, mais je garde une impression de prix désormais très élevés; trop élevés. Les tables étaient essentiellement occupées par des touristes. Peut-être l'adresse est-elle devenue une adresse touristique.

We travelled from Scotland for the France Scotland 6 nations match, we picked this restaurant from reviews we had read and it did not disappoint! Excellent service, exceptional quality of food, a lovely selection of wines, cocktails and spirits, we were sitting in the back part of the restaurant beside the wine cabinet which was a lovely part of the restaurant. Highly recommend a visit and to top the whole experience off, the retired French no 10, Franck Mesnel sat down at the other end of the large table we were sitting at which was the icing on the cake. Thank you to all staff and chefs for the best experience!

We came specifically for crispy skin chicken - and it was soggy and chewy. Really disappointing. Even the descriptions of the chickens when choosing describe the skin in terms of how crispy it will be, and it was really like rubber. Disappointing. The edges of the lettuce in the salad were also brown.
