What a memorable dinner! We wanted to have a nice dinner close to our hotel. I had their French Onion soup to start which was a large bowl of onion goodness. Mr had the salmon salad. I had my best pasta dish ever, Froie Gras pasta. The pasta was perfect which is a little softer, I don’t know what the sauce was but it was super tasty. The portion size is generous. Mr had the Froie Gras steak blue and much enjoyed. Our waiter was very attentive and polite. Yes dinner is pricier but I doubt I can find the equivalent in Canada.

Was going to give 2 stars but wanted to be fair to the good parts - the place isn’t cheap, but if you’re happy to pay, the main thing that was disappointing for me was that my duck breast was cremated. I don’t normally lie to complain because I don’t like waste plus I didn’t have time to order again and was hungry so I ate and paid but for anyone else ordering, please be specific about how you want your meat to be cooked! The sauce, potatoes, wine, service and location were all good.
