The staff are all lovely and nothing was too much trouble for them. We felt welcome and very well looked after.
We had a room in the back part of the hotel, looking into the courtyard. The room was comfortable and amazingly quiet considering how close it is to Place du Clichy. We slept well - which is a rarity for me - and felt very relaxed.
Location-wise the hotel is well-placed, only a few minutes walk from the Métro (ligne 2). This made it easy to get where we wanted if we didn't feel like walking. We did walk a lot too and were able to reach major tourist attractions within 30-40 minutes.
The staff speak English well and there were no communication issues at all. They also indulged my very rusty French, when I wasn't too tired to engage my brain!!
Merci beaucoup à tous à l'hôtel - vous êtes vraiment gentils. J'adorerais toutes les plantes et les oiseaux dans la cour - c'était un oasis charmante.
