Bien situé bel hotel
1. It is located right across the street from the Palais des Congrès de Paris
2. There are nearby restaurants and shops (especially on Av. des Ternes)
3. The rooms are modern, albeit a bit snug
The bad were:
1. While the Arc De Triomphe is in the name, it is actually an ~20 minute walk uphill to get there
2. There is no room service if you get in late and want to have something to eat or drink
3. For those of you with limited mobility, the bathtub lip is very high and difficult to get over, so DO NOT STAY HERE if you fall in that category
4. The breakfast area is big and noisy with very poor service that reminds one more of a school cafeteria at lunchtime rather than a hotel in Paris
As a family, we always prefer booking suites during our travels, and this one worked well for us. The suite was spacious and well-designed, with separate zones for rest and relaxation, which made the stay more comfortable for both kids and adults. The hotel was also beautifully decorated for the holiday season, with festive touches in the lobby and thoughtful welcome treats.
A particularly delightful surprise was the welcome gift: a beautifully presented cake that was genuinely delicious. Small details like this really added a warm touch to the stay.
Would recommend this property especially for Marriott members traveling with families who want a bit more space in Paris without breaking the bank :)
