Not worth it. A lot of people around for a lousy service. Quenelles are amazing and… it’s about it. Shy chef and arrogant manager. Not a blast.

We found this restaurant through Google and various social media, hoping to have a perfect dinner in Paris.
But we waited for a long time, until I was so hungry that my stomach hurt, and finally our appetizer "LAKE PIKE" was served. It is the restaurant's recommended dish. At first, there was nothing unusual in the first bite, but in the second bite, I ate a fish bone, and because I was completely unprepared, I was pierced by the fish bone directly in my mouth. When I suppressed my anger and politely asked the waiter why there was a fish bone in a dish without fish, the waiter called their head waiter. The head waiter asked me what it was? I said it was obviously a fish bone. He said to me, "This is a common thing in restaurants" without even an apology, and turned around and took the fish bone away. After a while, he came back. I said angrily that there was no fish in this dish. He said, "There is no way, I apologize to you on behalf of the chef."
I said that my mouth was pierced and he asked me, "Do you want to continue eating? You can choose to continue eating or leave." This attitude made me furious. This was the first time I encountered a daunting customer in a Michelin restaurant. When I slammed the table and was about to leave, the head waiter started to ask me again, "Do you want to wait for the duck meat later?" As if nothing had happened. I was very shocked by their handling of the situation. I left the restaurant in shock. It is worth noting that the head waiter asked us where we were from, and after learning that we were Chinese, he stared at the waitress in silence. I don't understand the meaning of this, is it racially discriminatory? What does where we are from have to do with me eating fish bones in such an expensive restaurant?
If this was an ordinary restaurant, I wouldn't be so angry, but as a restaurant that has been awarded Michelin two stars for 40 consecutive years and costs more than 100 yuan per person, I am very puzzled. The dishes are ordinary, the plating is ordinary, and the service attitude is extremely poor.

Incredible meal for my wife's 30th birthday. I don't have enough good words to say about this meal - the service was top-class, with a large and attentive team that is always there when you need them, but allows you space for your meal and conversation precisely when you need it. The food was delicious and the 8-course tasting menu (plus some of the best pairings I've ever had) left us more than satisfied.
Hard to beat a fun and reinvinted caviar dish, or a 24 year old bottle of Sauturne to go with some cheeses. Creative and innovative cooking that builds off of French traditions. If we were in Paris for longer, we would've gone back.
Only small note is that it would've been nice to leave with a physical menu to commemorate the experience, with the foods and pairings listed, but understand that's a difficult thing to do as not all tables will order the same things.
