A restaurant that smells well the province that we love, both by the warm wooded setting and by the fragrant cuisine: that of the sauces and roasted meats. Here, we do not peck in a few cubic centimeters an experimental dish, we are here to enjoy generous and traditional food, in short, to please our taste buds and activate our gastric juices! The forks and knives are at ease to attack a nice steak, prime rib, accompanied by bougnat apples, potatoes pan-fried with garlic and parsley or a calf's head with gribiche sauce, another specialty of the house. In season, young partridge, deer or boar fillet, fricassee of pheasant or rabbit stew will delight many lovers of bushmeat of this place, which looks like a hunting lodge.

The cuisine is entirely homemade from the starter to the dessert and the products are straight from the market of Rungis. We should mention it, the wine list is nice and a small liqueur such as pear alcohol allows you to finish on a rustic and comforting note.

No false notes and regulars are numerous... a little happiness not to be missed absolutely.

Outstanding meal - the first best meal in Paris

A family-run restaurant with a friendly welcome, right on the Boulevard de Courcelles. The restaurant has a large terrace, but it is a little noisy due to the traffic on the boulevard. Our group had a Planche de Charcuterie as a starter, followed by Cheese Burger Maison, Poulet Roti and Poire de Boeuf a la Plancha. When ordering, you should know the cooking methods for steak in French. The dishes served are rather rustic, with large portions. The focus is on meat, with fried potatoes as a side dish, but no salad or vegetables. The price-performance ratio is good. It's not Michelin-starred cuisine, but it's an interesting change of scene, especially in the otherwise very posh 8th arrondissement.

Le patron Jean Jacques est authentique et sert une cuisine revendiquée de bistrot parisien.
Le service est professionnel, chaleureux, formidable. Youssef, Léa, Laurent sont attentionnés; bref j’adore.
Les plats sont copieux et soignés.

Hyper sympa et les serveuses et le patron! Vraiment adorable, alors qu’on était pas les plus grosses clientes et pas les plus discrètes! Ils sont installés depuis très longtemps, verres sympa et cuisine originale!
Et pour un prix tout à fait avouable pour le quartier ! Je recommande à 300 %
