The second time, last night, was unpleasant because of the service. The server described one of the courses as “grilled scallops with tomato sauce” and the dessert as “chocolate cake.” If they were true, that would’ve been OK. Our main course, which was probably pork, was not even described to us at all. We waited for a few minutes after getting served, thinking the waitstaff would come back for an explanation — but no one did. For half of the dinner, I had to pour my own water.
Perhaps it was because our dining party had food allergies, an inconvenience to the chef, or there was a child with us (whom I paid the full price of €100+ for, so it shouldn’t have been a problem).
Appalling and unacceptable for a Michelin-starred restaurant and for a restaurant that charges €100+.
