Magnifique bâtiment et superbes expos

Il ne faut pas manquer de profiter d'une des expositions exceptionnelles de la Fondation pour apprécier l'architecture extraordinaire du bâtiment, de son emplacement et des installations. Très bon restaurant, belle librairie, vues sur Paris depuis la terrasse... L'exposition David Hockney était évidemment formidable.

Take the little shuttle on Ave Frielander across from the Arc de Triomphe to the museum out in the Bois de Boulogne. These shuttles leave every 15 min. (1euro paid only by c card) On arrival first thing we felt was how the staff at Fondation Vuitton were super welcoming !They do everything for you to have a wonderful visit. We bought our tickets online at the fondationlouisvuitton.fr
Aside from the exhibits, there is Frank Gehry's jewel of a building. We looked into every corner, every room, outside near the "waterfall" ...this building is ever interesting !

Sehr schöne Architektur. Der Besuch war leider etwas chaotisch, da viel zu viele Besucher eingelassen wurden. David Hockney Ausstellung, daher wahrscheinlich zu überlaufen.
Zu wenige Toiletten, immer lange Schlangen davor. Ein Restaurant vor Ort, reservieren empfohlen.
Im Park, kurz hinter dem Ausgang eine Möglichkeit Kleinigkeiten zu essen und zu trinken zu kaufen, Wartezeit 30 Minuten in der prallen Sonne.
Empfehlung: Unbedingt etwas zu trinken mitbringen um lange Wartezeiten zu vermeiden

A fascinating modern building with large and varied exhibition spaces.
The Hockney exhibition is fantastic, very well worth a visit. Imaginatively curated with creative ways to explain his approach to art and his life. Obviously an artist who loves creating, and has a fun approach to his very varied styles.

Expected More, Hockney show a bit too digital. The building Is not as impressive as from agar. It must be dificultad to clean.

L’architecture impressionnante de ce bâtiment ultramoderne vaut déjà le détour. De nombreux visiteurs étaient là aussi pour la visite de l’exposition de David Hockney qui était superbe avec un focus sur les œuvres de ses 25 dernières années et quelques grands classiques retraçant son évolution et l’utilisation des diverses techniques d’art. J’ai beaucoup apprécié les minis visites guidées des salles qui étaient gratuites.

Un beau musée, spacieux. On peut aussi sortir pour prendre l'air dans les jardins, c'est très sympa.
Expo Hockney tip top, malgré le monde

Deux points noirs :
- le manque de toilettes pour les femmes (quand aurons nous des toilettes mixtes comme dans les pays scandinaves ?)
- pas de sac pour transporter les achats en boutique (même payant). Une pauvre poche en papier pas pratique du tout. Very cheap....

L’exposition David Hockney est superbe. Pour autant. Il y a un bémol à cette visite. Ce sont les bip bip. Dès lors que quelqu’un franchit la ligne de sécurité. de fait les bip bip sont continus et à la longue deviennent insupportables , ces sons stridents gâchent le plaisir

Bâtiment somptueux, exposition magistrales.
Les scénographies sont toujours bien travaillées, on ne repart jamais déçu de la fondation Vuitton.
Une très belle vue sur le jardin d’acclimatation et le bois de Boulogne du toit de la fondation.

Hockney’s 25-year retrospective was fantastic, one of the best exhibitions I’ve seen. They hold a contingency of walk-in tickets, so it’s worth going even if it’s listed as sold out.

Always an excellent experience and an architectural gem. Takes a little doing to get there, but well worth it. Every time we go the art exhibit is excellent. Generally much more French visitors as it's not as well known as the central Paris museums.

Sympathique pour les amateurs d'art contemporain, ce qui n'est pas trop mon cas... mais les différentes expositions étaient intéressantes tout de même.
