Stunning!! As soon as I saw the Saint James I knew I had to stay there. We were only there for a night and I wish I could have stayed longer - it's just so expensive. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted in the driveway before we even reached the door - the attentive doorman took our luggage and assisted us to check-in. We were able to store our bags as we arrived several hours early. The staff was super friendly and because we were celebrating, we were upgraded and the room was fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous and so spacious. I loved it. The spa and pool area is so nice too - there's a sauna and hammam. We enjoyed some drinks in the library bar (very pricey but the room is beautiful). And, I can't forget about the special mascot Pilou!!! Pilou is a 17 year old cat who calls the hotel home. I'm so happy I was able to say hi to him while I was there. Overall, I loved staying here!

Saint James Hotel was an exceptional stay! The staff and service is incredible and could have not asked for more. The property is stunning with great food on and off the property. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Paris and I'm looking forward to my next stay at Saint James.

I sense I am being corrected? I did not mention the issue with the shower. Or the closed garden where we had to take our drinks outside on our own?
Perhaps some sense that if some spends >€2k a night they expect an immaculate experience. Not a scented candle quickly foisted in a bag which I suspect most guests are given.
