I was quite apprehensive to have lunch at this place based on one previous review. We did not make any reservation and tried our luck on the spot. To my great surprise, we were treated extremely well. The food is relatively on the higher end cost-wise but you also pay for the experience. The view of the Eiffel Tower from there is just wow. The waiters were very polite, attentive and caring. We are mauritians of indian ethnicity and speak french quite well. The waitress deserved her tip.

Grundsätzlich waren wir sehr zufrieden – das Essen war ausgezeichnet, der Service herzlich und die Aussicht auf den Eiffelturm schlichtweg traumhaft. Das Erlebnis hat viele Highlights geboten. Für den doch stolzen Preis von 220.– CHF pro Person hätten wir uns jedoch etwas mehr Liebe zum Detail gewünscht: unsauberes Besteck, kein Glas Wasser oder Keks zum Espresso – Kleinigkeiten, die in dieser Preisklasse einfach sitzen müssen.

We paid a lot of money for the diamond view and it was blocked by the patio umbrellas. The kind staff moved us but the view was between two umbrellas. Pretty annoying and should be warned it may not be a full view of the tower when booking. However the food and staff were above excellent!

I would like to begin by thanking Clovis Coutand, the manager, who was professional, attentive, and genuinely tried to make our experience better. He kindly offered us complimentary cocktails as a gesture of goodwill, which we truly appreciated. It was a warm and thoughtful touch.

However, it was clear that even he couldn’t do much about the behavior of our waiter, Romain, whose attitude was simply unacceptable. There was no trace of proper French etiquette in his conduct—only rudeness and arrogance.

Despite us placing a large order and clearly not just dropping by for a quick coffee, Romain treated us with disregard. When I politely mentioned that something was not to our liking, his response was unreasonably aggressive and disrespectful.

What truly shocked us was how he handled the situation with photos. At a restaurant with such a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, it’s completely normal for guests to take pictures. Every table around us was doing the same. Yet, only my friends and I were told off, and in an extremely rude tone. The table behind us, who were also taking pictures, was met with a smile and casual jokes from Romain. The double standards were very obvious.

It seemed he only showed friendliness to guests he assumed would leave a big tip.

Had an amazing experience at café de l’homme Paris. My boyfriend had chose this restaurant for our proposal dinner. I must say the views, the food and the service were impeccable.

Nous avons réservé via google map et en cliquant sur “réserver” il est demandé de payer 60€ par personne pour une table en terrasse le soir mais à aucun moment il n’est précisé que les 60€ par personne sont en fait le prix à payer juste pour accéder à la terrasse avec une coupe de champagne.
Nous avons donc été très surpris quand l’addition est arrivée puisque nous avons dû payer les plats (48€ et de qualité très moyenne) en plus des 120€ déjà payé en ligne pour nous 2 au moment de la réservation.
Après discussion avec le manager, il s’est montré arrangeant mais cette déconvenue a quand même un peu gâché la fin de soirée.
Par ailleurs nous avions indiqué en réservant que c’était notre anniversaire de mariage et nous n’avons reçu aucune attention particulière pendant la soirée.
Mention spéciale à notre serveur qui était très sympathique et nous a très bien accueilli.

Amazing experience, our waiter, Darius, was truly amazing. He was the best waiter I’ve ever had. The food was also fantastic. I would come here again next time I’m in Paris.

The view is good but you need to stay outside to have a good view, which comes at a cost of €60. Service is ok, but the food is terrible, I'd rather bring instant noodle.

I left 600€ for two (bottle blanc de blanc, wine by glass, sashimi starter, main course and desert - all quite decent, not bad at all!).

Service: friendly but too rushed, they want get 3-4 sittings in one evening and constantly came and asked, filled the glas etc.
We were then asked to leave after 2h, even though place was not busy and I wasn't stingy (btw asking 10% tip in France should not be supported, still gave them 50).

L'expérience au Café de l'Homme a été au-delà de nos attentes. Notre groupe de 9 personnes a été reçu par une Imen aussi charmante qu'efficace et professionnelle. Tout au long du dîner, toute l'équipe des serveurs s'est relayée à notre table pour veiller aux moindres détails et faire de ce dîner aux pieds de la Tour Effel, un moment vraiment inoubliable, baigné dans une ambiance musicale sensationnelle. Le cadre était merveilleux et la cuisine délicieuse. Si vous souhaitez passer un moment merveilleux à Paris, c'est vraiment au Café de l'Homme qu'il faut venir. Mille mercis encore à la flamboyante Imen et à toute l'équipe des serveurs. De vrais pros !!!

I booked an exclusive table to get the best view of the Eiffel Tower at the restaurant. I must say it was one of the best investments I’ve made. The staff was amazing, the food was great and me and my wife will never forget how Romain, one of the exclusive area waiter treated us. He was always on top of things, took amazing pictures of us and provided the best suggestions. I believe that the service is the most important part of every restaurant, and the training and people Cafe de I’Homme are hiring are top notch. We will certainly come back and we expect to find Romain there. Outstanding.

We had an amazing experience and so much fun! Iman helped us get a better table with a beautiful view, and Hugo was super friendly and welcoming. The DJ was fantastic, and the vibes were just perfect. Would definitely come back!

My daughter surprised me with this excellent choice for our special dinner - highly recommend the patio experience- the view of the tower (and handsome staff) made for a lovely mother daughter evening. Food was amazing (best we’ve EVER tasted) service impeccable and overall experience was top notch!

The best part is the view. The service is terrible. The whole staff is confused. They all look very hah running around with empty trays. No one seems to n am who’s ordered or who’s food is going where. They are kind but there is no organization. And they asked for tips! Serious bummer.

Unforgettable experience at Café L’Homme! The food and wine were amazing, the view of the Eiffel Tower is awesome and the service was outstanding. Quelle déception que la nouvelle approche du café de l'homme, pourtant une des plus belles terrasses de Paris. Accueil exécrable, politique de placement illisible, refus de distanciation sociale, en pleine crise covid, dans une salle pourtant vide (seules les allées latérales étaient remplies avec des clients tous extrêmement proches, le centre de la salle intégralement vide, et aucune exception admise y compris pour une femme enceinte). Cuisine sans intérêt ni relief, et musique lounge sans âme et bruyante, rappelant un supermarché de province.
