HÔTEL DU PETIT LOUVRE ^{* *}

Positive: Close walk to the waterfront, eiffel tower, and different foods/bars Negative: The room is extremely small, I saw reviews I thought people were just being picky but just myself & husband I had to walk on the bed,wasn't enough room for me to walk to my side of the bed. Our room up a dark stairwell the sensor didn't go off. dangerous

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days, we got the room on the 4th floor. The pros are the great location just walkable from the Eiffel Tower, technically it is in the 15th but practically in the 7th arrondissement. The metro, bus stops are all just a stone's throw away. The rooms are maintained well. The breakfast is too basic, and the tables are too small and the entire breakfast place is so small that if u sit it's very hard to get up. No fruits. Then the elevator is not reliable it didn't work from the 3rd day. The steps are winding & very hard to climb , so what's the point keeping the room for disabled on the 4th floor with such an unreliable elevator? After the elevator Experience wouldn't like to recommend this hotel for aged people & those with small kids.

We've booked the hotel a while in advance and arrived on time. We had to wait for another hour until the room wasn't done, which was really not a big problem for us.

The reason why I rate this hotel with 4 stars is that the elevator was broken down.
I went to many reviews that were stating that in this hotel is no elevator - but this is untrue (pictures attached).
We were on the 3rd floor that only was available via very steep old staircase (over 50 stairs).

So here's my honest opinion:
⛔️➖ If you are a person that feels uncomfortable or physically not capable to climb very steep stairs (that REALLY get to you the first two days ????) - do yourself a favor and look for a different hotel.

????. YES!!! the building is old and the rooms are tiny, but this is also normal in Paris.
The location is PRIME ⭐️ the Metrostation "Dupleix" Line 6 is located directly in front of the door. You just walk cross the street.

???? NO!!! There definitely are NO bed bugs, or any sort of bugs in the room. We've stayed here for 5 nights and to be honest - the beds are very comfortable. We slept very well. And there was NO odor or any sort of smells coming from the bathroom that by the way was pretty clean.

❤️ The ladies also at the front desk were very polite and nice to us.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I give it a 4 star rating because of the stairs, other than this I think for the price we were paying we had a pretty good experience. Considering how scared I was reading all the negative comments here.

Also it should be mentioned that we are talking about a 3 star and not a 5 star hotel. And it fulfilled the promise of a solid 3 star hotel.

I would recommend this hotel to young and "leg strong" people on a budget and with a bit of humor ???? because you're gonna find yourself huffing and puffing when you make it to the third floor.
If you're ok with this, that place is really a good choice for your wallet and cardio ☺️

Ich buchte mit meine zwei Töchter das Hotel.
Das Personal an der Rezeption war höflich. Leider mussten wir am Ersten Tag einen Kaution hinterlegen, wollte Bar bezahlen es wurde abgelehnt und musste mit der Karte bezahlen.
Das Zimmer war sehr klein mit einem Doppelbett und mit ein ausziehbares Bett zusammengequetscht, in dem wir überhaupt kein Platz zum bewegen hatten.
Das Bad war genauso Mini und roch sehr schrecklich.Frühstück war Katastrophe meine Kinder und ich waren über der Auswahl sehr enttäuscht.
Mann konnte Eifelturm zu Fuß sehr gut erreichen.

Decepcionado com a experiência no hotel. A limpeza do quarto deixou muito a desejar, encontramos sujeira acumulada e restos de comida de dias anteriores. Mesmo liberando o quarto para arrumação, a limpeza era superficial e, em alguns dias, nem foi realizada. Além disso, o elevador ficou fora de serviço por dias, causando ainda mais transtornos. Pelo valor pago, esperávamos um serviço muito melhor. Não voltaria e não recomendo.
