Best Vietnamese restaurant in the 13th. Nems are perfect every time. The Pho is excellent, and while may be able to find a better bowl at one of the many places that specialize in pho, I haven't found it yet. Chao Ba is the standard for an excellent bowl of pho, and all others should be measured against theirs. Fried rice, shaking beef, dick, sauteed noodles are all excellent. It's hard to find a bad dish here. Staff is welcoming and helpful. An English language menu is available for non-francophones. Highly recommend.

Quel plaisir de pouvoir venir manger des plats vietnamiens, simples mais excellents, cela me rappelle le pays. Le restaurant est situé dans une petite rue tranquille, l’accueil est à l’image du Vietnam c’est à dire sympathique, les prix plus que raisonnable, c’est petit mais on s’y sent bien. Je recommande.

Un très bon moment avec une cuisine vietnamienne de qualité. Le serveur seul en salle est efficace et très agréable. Les prix sont très corrects. Je recommande les crêpes vapeur, les bo bun remarquables et les desserts ! Les glaces sesame noir matcha coco sont délicieuses. Cerise sur le gâteau : les prix sont très abordables avec un menu à 17 euros.

Absolutely fabulous! Were very accommodating despite my inability to speak French (they do speak English, if that is of relevance to you.)
I got the sample appetizers (photo taken halfway through eating) and Gourmand as I was indecisive. They were both delicious! Once I finished I just went up to the counter and paid by card.
I got there right around evening opening on a weekday and was the first one there. They were around 2/3 full by 8pm.
Even though it's a bit far, a great option if you want to see the Eiffel Tower at night since the 6 metro train runs 4 mins from the restaurant to the Trocadéro Gardens (the 6 also offers some nice views of the city at night as well).
