while the room was rather small (as usual in Paris) it was a pleasant stay in a friendly hotel. Very relaxed atmosphere and family-like hospitality.

We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel. Our room was typically Parisian (small), but clean and bright. The shower was refreshing! The people working the front desk were friendly and helpful, especially Cyril. Our only complaint was the mini-fridge was more like a mini-oven. It would be better if there was no fridge in the room because we put food in thinking it would stay cold, and the food was ruined. The neighborhood is quiet and not touristy, which we liked. There are wonderful little places to eat nearby, especially Julian's creperie @legoelanddaligre on the place d'aligre circle. The hotel is a short walk to the metro, however we usually walked toward the Seine and along the river toward Notre Dame. The viaduc at the corner has a lovely walking path on top and there are interesting shops on the street level.
