I really recommend the Porte Doree Hotel. It's elegant, based in beautiful neighbourhood of 12 quatier near wonderfull park. Steping out of the hotel you're in paris underground (100 m), what's the most important for Paris sightseeing. The rooms are comfy and simply beautiful (the atmosphere of old Paris), bathrooms are very clean and welcoming. The staff is lovely, very warm, always helpfull. The level quality to price is very good, I would call it: comfort for decent price. I will be back for sure.

Il nostro soggiorno all’hotel de la porte dorée è stato bellissimo! Stanze pulite, letti comodissimi e personale molto gentile. Metropolitana a 2 passi e quindi comodo per gli spostamenti!! ||||L’unica cosa da migliorare un po’ è la colazione. Secondo me soprattutto per i bambini c’è poca scelta.

Rooms need a major refresh. Minimal starage space. There is space for more storage, but the room is poorly configured. No closet. No drawers. One shelf. Claims to be eco-friendly, with no fragrance, which is not true. Motion activated hall lights are poorly calibrated and make for a creepy hallway. Some staff are nice, some are cranky. Several close transit stops make getting into the city center less difficult.

Cosy Hotel very close to the port dorée. They took a effort to dekorate the rooms in a historic way.

The hotel was very nice and full of character. The room had everything we needed: a safe, an ironing board with an iron, a TV, a mini sewing kit, earplugs, shower gels, and body lotion. A big plus was that our requests made during the booking process were fulfilled. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and cleaned daily. The reception staff spoke English very well. Breakfast was typically French but very tasty and made with high-quality products. It was great that hot chocolate, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a fruit salad were available. There are several shops nearby, as well as McDonald’s and Burger King. Metro line 8 is also located right next to the hotel, so you can easily get anywhere in Paris.
