Enjoyed the stay here. Very helpful staff. I would like to specially mention Olivier at the Concierge desk for his extremely pleasant, courteous & helpful service.

We had a wonderful time here, topped off with large, comfy beds in à spacious room, with people who were delightful. The staff is so helpful. They also stored our luggage when we arrived early, and when we checked out so that we could explore Paris more before sadly having to leave. The breakfast was terrific, with everything you could desire, hot or cold. True, it did cost extra, but was worth it. The hotel is right at à major metro station, opening the wonders of Paris to you. The neighborhood is loaded with top restaurants, and there are supermarkets and pharmacies nearby. À very convenient place to stay. I also praise them for not perfuming the rooms…so many hotels now add scenting to the heating/air conditioning, making it thereby impossible for the allergic to breathe. This place did not scent anything, so I had a marvelous time here. My thanks to all the staff for making us feel welcomed and taken care of.

A spectacular hotel in a spectacular location

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel in a room facing the square. During the day, we could hear skateboarding noise from the center of the park. After dark, it was quieter other than some vehicle noises. The hotel is very nice and in a great location for exploring the neighborhood. The included breakfast buffet was extensive and had options for pretty much anyone.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits très agréable au Crowne Plaza République. Les lits sont très confortables, la chambre était immaculée.
L’accueil à la réception était très chaleureux et efficace. Hôtel bien situé, 10 min à pied du Marais. Nous n’avons pas pris le petit déjeuner sur place puisqu’il y plusieurs jolis cafés autour. On recommande!

It was a joke starting when we arrived. No one paid attention that I was very clear it was our honeymoon. The staff were all rude, stains on my pillows, A/C barely turned on, I can go on for hours.

I’m very disappointed in my stay. I paid 40€ extra for a city view that was blocked by trees. The hotel said they would refund the extra I paid, but they did not and are not responding to my emails requesting the refund they promised. I would not recommend this hotel.

Overall the hotel is very good. Convenient location and next to the metro. Numerous restaurants nearby. Beds are quite hard, but still quite good. Rooms over the Place are quite nosy, but this tends to stop around 1000-1030. Inside rooms are very quite.

Hotel is located 3 minute walk from subway, very convenient. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had great variety of food. Rooms overlooking the courtyard are quite at night. Beds are a bit firmer than we like but slept fine. Would highly recommend this hotel. We used the subway exclusively to get around to all the sights, maps in the subway make it easy. Buy the day pass to save money.

The Crowne Plaza is in a great central location near a metro stop, which makes reaching major attractions easy and straight forward. The rooms are spacious, breakfast was decent, the staff was helpful and friendly and the room was quiet for being in such a bustling area. It's a big American style hotel with, you guessed it, lots of Americans. Big groups of them with tour companies, which is a bit of a turn off. But it is to be expected if you want the typical amenities found in U.S. hotels (including wash cloths and an ice machine!) Overall, I would recommend this hotel due to the comfort, spacious rooms and location.

I had an amazing stay at the Crowne Plaza Paris République. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help. A special mention goes to Aida at the reception—she was professional, welcoming, and truly represented IHG hospitality at its best.
The housekeeping team also deserves praise; they maintained a high standard throughout my stay. The room was always impeccably clean, neat, and comfortable.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would gladly return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Paris!

Modest rooms, clean and spacious with great service. The breakfast was rich with multicultural food to choose from. The location was great, everything was walking distance.

My stay at the Crowne Plaza Paris République was exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious and varied. The front desk staff were professional and welcoming, and they kindly upgraded my room, which made my stay even more enjoyable.|The hotel is also conveniently located near many of Paris’s main tourist attractions, making it easy to explore the city.|I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a great location in Paris.

What a great hotel. It was near several major bus and metro routes. I ate at the bar, service was better then some restaurants. They were busy but they saw everything and made you feel welcome. Breakfast was one of the better ones. I cant wait to go back.

Just finished a 4-night stay and enjoyed the experience. This is a clean, modern hotel in a great location - Republique metro stop has 5 lines to get you almost anywhere in the city easily. The “cool” Le Marais district starts right across the plaza as well. There are tons of both touristy and non-touristy restaurants, shops and bakeries all around.
If you’re coming from the US, just remember that this is a European 4 star property, meaning it’s closer to a 3 star equivalent in the US. It’s not going to feel luxurious or super modern. It’s clean and basic.
The location is similar to staying by Union Square in NYC. It’s busy and happening but not dangerous. There are also police all around.
I requested a quiet room on the 3rd floor and that’s what I got — super quiet facing a quiet corner in the back, with big windows you can actually open. The blackout curtains are fantastic and showers have good water pressure.
One important improvement I would recommend is converting the outlets to international plugs and/or adding USB/USB-C plugs to the rooms like they have in the lobby. With mostly international visitors, there’s really no reason to only have European plugs in the room.
It should also be possible to turn the AC down lower. It stays at around 70-73 F regardless of how you set it.

The room was impressively large — a rare find in Paris — and made for an exceptionally comfortable experience. The location couldn't be better, just steps from the vibrant Marais district, with so much to explore nearby. Despite being so central, the hotel is incredibly quiet, allowing for restful nights.
The service was also outstanding: attentive, professional, and welcoming at every turn. I highly recommend this hotel.

Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο κεντρικό. Πάνω στην πλατεια δημοκρατίας με στάση του μετρό έξω από την πόρτα του. Άνετα δωμάτια καθαρό με πολύ πλούσιο πρωινό. Προσωπικό ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικοί. Γύρω από το ξενοδοχείο μαγαζιά για φαγητό ποτό και μάρκετ. Ακόμα και με τα πόδια ευκολη η πρόσβαση στα μνημεία.

Fast check in ..nice size for Paris .. dry clean ..comfortable bed and linens..nice bathroom amenities….even hair conditioner..The room a bit cold for us but that was ok ….heating system did not heat to our desire |Very quiet and nice view for us ..Breakfast was excellent..lots to choose from ..central to sights

Hotel de frente à praça da república, com acesso praticamente na porta do metrô. Quartos espaçosos e com boa estrutura. Limpeza do local boa e cama confortável. O restaurante tem ótimas opções no buffet e no café da manhã uma excelente seleção de pães, frios, frutas e muitas outras comidas.

El desayuno en la habitación es excelente, disfrutaba de la vista al patio interno, desde mi habitacion en planta baja. Excelente servicio! El mejor hotel en que me ha alojado en París. Inolvidable estadía hace ya varios inviernos!

The hotel is very”American/international” for the good and bad.
We took a king room ant it was in a rather big size, but very basic with amenities.
Breakfast was big and more international than French.
I would like to mention that the service surprised me - staff were really friendly and proactive in offering held and solutions for us and made our stay exceptional.
