Overall, our experience at this hotel was positive.
The good: Great location, next to cafes, restaurants, bakeries, Metro and RER trains. Kid-friendly, clean, safe, modern decor, very friendly staff (all speak English very well), nice breakfast offerings, walkable to Seine, Norte Dame, Louvre, Musee d’Orsay.
The not so good: Very noisy at night, because of outdoor cafes. After closing there is a lot of noise from overly happy intoxicated people singing and shouting at 1:30 am. The beds (especially the pull-out sofa-beds) are not very comfortable.
Overall: If you are a sound sleeper, this is an excellent hotel.

Estuvimos 3 días toda la familia (mi marido y yo, y vuestras hijas de 9, 7 y 5 años). Fue genial porque tenían una habitación en la que cabíamos los 5 (que no es nada frecuente). La ubicación es inmejorable porque se puede ir andando a casi todos los sitios de interés, y hay mucho restaurante etc en la zona. El buffet del desayuno es increíble. El único pero, las camas. Colchones y canapés muy viejos y camas muy blandas e incómodas. Nada propias de un hotel de esta categoría y este precio

Stayed one night, didn’t eat in the dining room. The hotel is an 8 minute taxi ride from Notre Dame, a 40 minute taxi ride from Orly. There is a metro stop immediately in front of the hotel but we didn’t use the metro this trip. We were happy to be able to have our dog in the room with us. The room was basic and suited our needs. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Only two small problems. We could not get the temperature lowered in the room even when turning the system off. The floor of the shower is slick when wet. We put a towel down to be safe. Additionally the front staff recommended we eat lunch at Au Pied de Cochon. We had a not-so-great lunch but the service and ambiance were top-notch.

Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera executive tutto sommato carina, ma mancavano le ciabatte e un accappatoio . Non c era l acqua per il te. Ma soprattutto con l indirizzo del sito non arrivi in Hotel ( te ne danno un altro ) e non c e’ il parcheggio come scritto sul sito. Se hai la macchina, evita questo hotel !

El personal es muy agradable y servicial, tanto el de la recepción como Paulo. Se esfuerzan porque tu estancia sea lo más agradable posible.

Hotel fantastico. Camere super pulite. Colazione al top. Super gentilezza del personale a tutti i livelli. Ho acquistato il pernottamento con colazione completa. Una mattina non ne ho usufruito e non mi è stata addebitata pur avendo prenotato il pacchetto: questa la chiamo serietà e trasparenza. Ci sono stato più di 20 anni fa con mia moglie e tornato adesso anche con mia figlia. Ci tornerò sicuramente anche in futuro.

Ottima posizione, vicino alla metro Les Halles! Il Louvre facilmente raggiungibile a piedi!

We just completed a 1-week stay at the Hotel Novotel Paris Les Halles and could not have been much more pleased than we were. In searching for a hotel, I was looking for a 4-star or better property that was centrally located with rooms large enough to stretch out a bit. The Novotel Paris Les Halles definitely fit the bill, while staying affordable at the same time. We also didn’t want a hotel that was too modern property wise (i.e. high rise), thought being it might deter from us really settling into the culture and surroundings. We found the rooms to be clean, organized, and updated. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom well-appointed and large enough. It even had a neat feature that turned the shower glass toward the room from opaque to transparent – though we never did come up with a reason why one would want to do that. The room was both comfortable to lounge in and get ready in the morning for the day’s adventure, and honestly, bigger than we expected. One improvement would be to ditch the body soap for actual shampoo and a bar of soap. You might want to bring your own stuff there (I don’t usually, but should have here). The hot water/coffee pot in the room was also pretty weak. It didn’t heat up well, and overall was cumbersome. That could be updated. Outside the room, the staff was amazing. We found all of them to be very accommodating, and always happy to help. They all seemed knowledgeable about their jobs, and never once needed to defer on anything. Anyone we approached just helped us out. The property overall seems well maintained, though the men’s room on the main floor was partially out of order the whole week. The bar and lounge areas were also ample and comfortably for a brief mid-day relaxation break…though the lobby furniture may be approaching its end of life, particularly by the baggage area, where there were visible rips in the fabric. If you’re looking for a nice hotel in the middle of Paris, I would definitely recommend this.

The breakfast overall was good. The scramble eggs could have been better but overall very nice stay and very nice service. Paola at the front desk was extremely helpful and nice.
