Stayed here because I needed easy, early morning proximity to Gare du Nord. It's a quick walk to there, and in fact even closer to Gare de l'Est. ||The location was good, the neighborhood was fine. I always felt safe. The hotel was clean.||I live in NYC. I thought I was immune to street noise.||HOWEVER. My hotel was on the first floor (in the US that = 2nd floor). I looked directly onto the street, and as it turns out onto a bus stop. At all hours of the night, people walking by and waiting at the bus stop might as well have been standing in my room. It was that loud with the windows closed. If that isn't bad enough, on the lower level of the hotel the metro running directly under the hotel can be heard (at felt) at 5-minute intervals between 5 am and 1 am. Noise cancelling headphones help, but sleep will be difficult until 1 am.||Otherwise... Room is comfortable. Has a safe, shampoo, soap, and hair dryer. ||Would not stay here again.

Direkt am Gare de l‘Est ist der imposante Bau bestens geeignet für uns Reisende aus Freiburg oder Strassburg: netter Empfang, gute Atmosphäre, sich wohl zu fühlen und Gepäck kostenlos zu lagern. 2 schnelle Lifts. Mein Zimmer ist klein, aber Spiegel vergrößern den Raum optisch. Die Klimaanlage hört man nicht. Fenster zum Öffnen, gute Ausstattung mit Kaffee/Tee-Bereitung, Kühlschrank, variables Licht, bequeme Betten. Sehr gute Pflegemittel in Spendern.Kurze Wege zu Metro & Bussen. Nebenan Monop’ für den Bedarf.

HI i left my pillow cover on the hotel. i accomodate yesterday (4/15~16) i check out today(4/16). i stayed there on 3or 4 floor for one person room my name is park han sol. could you keep the pilow until tomorrow? i will pick up tomorrow

An exceptional, well presented and comfortable hotel. Cleaned daily and with excellent facilities. Highly recommended for a short stay in Paris. |Across the road from the Gare de l’Est or only 30-45 min walk from Opera or Notre Dame. Good selection of shops and supermarkets on the street. Bakery opposite is excellent too.
