Hotel vecchio e sporco. Il letto della camera era scomodo e molto piccolo, si sentivano i vicini delle camere accanto e pure quelli dei piani sotto e sopra, quando passava la metro tutto tremava. Durante il nostro soggiorno di 3 notti, la camera non è stata sistemata nemmeno una volta. Esperienza davvero negativa, il soggiorno non è stato confortevole. Oltretutto il prezzo della camera “suite” non era degno dei servizi.

We had an overall good stay at the Kabanel hotel. The room were spacious, compared to most hotel rooms in Paris, they were clean and cozy, with a location right across the street from a building with Parisian architecture.

The staff was friendly except for one incident with the person that checked us in which was rude and very impatient, almost raising the voice at me while I was explaining to her that we had to book one extra night due to a change flight. She didn’t find the booking at first and started raising her voice and telling me that I don’t have a reservation even tho I knew I had it. It was resolved after all but the staff wasn’t very professional.

Location is good, in a quiet place, next to a local market place, and also next to public transportation and metro.

The only disadvantage was the fact that the stairs and the elevator were very tight and pretty hard to use but it didn’t bother us that much since we didn’t spend much time in them.

I overall do recommend this hotel and I would come back here when I visit Paris next time!

Avis rédigé après une dizaine de nuits, en toutes saisons.
A quelques minutes à pieds de la Gare de l'Est et de la Gare du Nord.
Equipe stable.
Accueil sympathique et souriant à toute heure.
Chambres propres, calmes sur le côté cour (je n'ai pas testé le côté rue).
Marché primeur juste en face. Je recommande particulièrement.

Chambre supérieure n'a pas de table de nuit, une seule petite chaise.La salle du petit déjeuner trop serrée et ascenseur très inadéquat.
Près des gares, le seul avantage.
Hôtel de niveau 2 étoiles pour l'ensemble des prestations et non 3 étoiles.

L'hotel è situato in un'ottima posizione, vicino alla Gare de l'Est e alla Gare du Nord ad un passo da diverse fermate di metro e bus. Ottima qualità prezzo se non si hanno molte pretese. La nostra camera era una tripla - nonostante fossimo due persone - pulita e con bagno di recente ristrutturazione.
Personale molto gentile. Nella hall dell'hotel c'è sempre la possibilità di poter bere, un caffè, un the e mangiare caramelle gommose oppure pain au chocolat.

J’ai passé un séjour exceptionnel à l’hôtel Kabanel. L’accueil a été chaleureux, le personnel est attentionné et toujours prêt à aider. La chambre était propre, confortable et bien équipée. L’emplacement est parfait, proche des transports et des principaux sites touristiques. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel et je reviendrai avec plaisir !

We loved the Hotel Kabanel by HappyCulture in rue de Chabrol. The hotel is comfortable, clean and bright, and in a good location, close to the Gare de l'Est (5 minutes) and 15 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord. Metro stations are within a few minutes walk. The breakfast was excellent with a full menu of hot and cold breakfast foods, coffee and other hot beverages. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel on our last day, to collect when we left to travel home. The room was very quiet, and we slept very well. The beds were generously sized, and very comfortable. Overall, a great experience. Thank you!

Very easy to check in, good communication with front desk staff, and they were very kind and helpful. Close to Gare Du Nord station so easy to get to/ from airport if taking the train. Beautiful room as pictured and bed is comfortable. Street was loud and busy (as expected for Paris) but windows had good sound proofing so slept through the night no issues on 5th floor. Great location close to major attractions also, walking distance if you are not in a rush (~1.25 hour to Eiffle tower with some stops to appreciate the view along the way). Front desk staff also very helpful giving suggestions, and they booked our taxi to the airport for us which we really appreciate. Great view from the windows too!

Bathroom is quite small, enough room to shower/ get dressed but I would suggest leaving your clothing outside the bathroom as you shower, to avoid getting them wet as the shower can splash a little. But given the smaller rooms, I think this size of bathroom is fine, and to be expected. Not a major downside at all, and this would not stop me from staying here again.

Nice small hotel, close to the train station and metro. Also very close to shops, cafes and restaurants. The room was spotlessly clean, beds comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Would recommend for a short stay. Breakfast is nice but not the best choice.

Jolie chambre, très bon petit déjeuner (surtout les œufs brouillés), équipe sympathique. J'ai un regret sur les rideaux des chambres qui ne sont pas suffisamment occultants. Je pensais que ma chambre avec vue cour serait calme, malheureusement c'est la cour de l'hôtel, il y avait du passage et parfois du bruit. Sinon j'ai apprécié la proximité avec la gare de l'Est !

Très bon hôtel, à 5 mn de la gare de l'Est. Personnels très sympathiques, chambre très bien entretenue et au calme côté cour. Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix (sucré/salé) Nous avons été agréablement surpris. On y reviendra sans hésiter.

Very basic hotel, no area to relax in after long days sightseeing, breakfast was ok but area was so small hard to get anything. Staff were friendly, location about 30 mins walk from hop-on hop-off bus stop, some nice cafe bars near hotel. We used uber a lot & stayed out all day as we only wanted to go back to hotel to sleep. Beds were comfy enough, no housekeepin on 2nd day, shower was bad, rooms were dated, wouldnt stay here again.

Prima hotel, vriendelijk personeel, soms even wachten bij de deur. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding en een superlocatie niet ver van Gare du Nord en Gare de l est. Kamer was schoon, bedden waren ok ( beetje smal), douche was prima. Ontbijt niet genomen.

Das Hotel befindet sich noch in Renovierung, mein Zimmer war wohl schon fertig. Alles sauber und hübsch, das Bett war bequem, das Badezimmer ansprechend. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, alles da, was man erwarten würde. Ich mochte außerdem sehr die kleine Kaffeebar am Empfang und das superfreundliche Personal. Die Lage direkt an den Bahnhöfen ist perfekt und dennoch ruhig.
Nicht so schön waren die ausgetretenen Treppen, aber vielleicht werden die ja auch noch renoviert.
