We wanted a traditional French meal and were not disappointed. A quite small but perfectly formed restaurant with excellent food and service. Very friendly & welcoming. I had the devilled eggs and my wife had the goats cheese salad for starters, followed the Arlots sausage with mash and rump steak with gratin dauphinois for main. Both were delicious. We finished off with the rum baba. Very boozy and also delicious. A short walk from Gare du Nord. Would highly recommend Arlots.

Wonderful food. Make a reservation as this is a wonderfully intimate restaurant that can be busy.

Ordered the pig ear and chorizo carpaccio, which was lovely.

Also ordered the sausicce with pommes puree, and it was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and fun. I high recommend this restaurant.

This is hands-down my favorite place to eat in Paris. Thank you for such a wonderful meal. Not one thing could have been better. Make sure to make a reservation in advance.

The best tartare ever. I'm not a raw meat lover. But this tartare is the best one I have ever had.
Every single bite explode my taste bud. I love it. Very friendly staff too . Will come back.

Les Arlots est un bistrot dans le quartier résidentiel de Barbès-Rocherouart. J’arrive à 11h45 mais les portes n’ouvrent qu’à midi pile. Le restaurant n’est pas très grand, le menu est à l’ardoise. Je choisis les oeufs mayos: correct.  Je choisis le collier d’agneau confit parce que je suis amaeur de collier d'agneau. Le collier arrive d’un bloc. Les os ne sont pas brisés; la sauce est excellente, la purée de pomme de terre demeure correcte. Comme dessert on me sert un baba au rhum où je ne sens aucune goute d’essence de rhum ni d’alcool. Ca goute la fraise qui se trouve en garniture. Je suis déçu. Le vin est délicieux. Le pain est bon. J’ai fait les mauvais choix où je suis tombé sur une mauvaise journée. Un peu cher.

I had a very disappointing experience at this bistro. Despite the place being half-empty, the staff gave off an unwelcoming and pretentious attitude. I asked for a table to have a quick meal alone, but they turned me away, claiming they were full—even though there were plenty of available seats. It felt as if they were counting chairs rather than accommodating customers. The lack of hospitality was striking, and the overall atmosphere made it clear that they prioritize exclusivity over genuine service. Definitely not a place I’d recommend.

An exceptional meal in a wonderful bistro. Dined here with my family on 14th Feb and had it booked since early Jan. Service was first class, set menu (it was Valentine’s Day) was varied with every mouthful savoured. We tried their famous sausage and mash and also had the rump steak. Probably the best we’ve ever had. The wine list is extensive and suits all budgets. If you’re in Paris, please book Les Arlots. You’re welcome!

A must. Not to be missed. The food is outstanding, even traditional dishes of which there are many, have an extra zing, sparkle and flavor, making the ordinary EXTRAordinary. Beautifully presented of course with the most lovely-ever wait staff.

Prices are fair especially for the high, creative quality preparation.

Ambiance is rustic, and suits the menu, pleasantly informal and welcoming.

RESERVATIONS required. They are always full.

Excellente adresse. J’y est mangé tout seul au bar, staff super sympa, et du top niveau dans l’assiette. J’ai bien sûr goûté le fameux saucisse purée, digne de sa réputation.

Superb! The terrine, saucisse, onglet, riz au lait all delicious. The host was very friendly and recommended excellent wine pairings. Yes the tables are close together but it adds to the convivial atmosphere. And all at bistro prices too - amazing.

Carte condensée sur de très bon plats, bien présentés type gastronomique et suffisamment copieux.
Un bonheur de se faire conseiller pour l'accord mets vins, sur de bonnes bouteilles en vins naturels et tout à fait abordables.

Nous sommes allés avec mon ❤️ le 20 février 2024 dîner aux Arlots. Et dire que cette merveille est située tout près de chez moi. Un bistrot gastronomique qui porte bien son appellation. Toute la cuisine est haut de gamme, la terrine est à tomber, le pain de chez Thierry Breton, je crois, délicieux, la joue de boeuf fond dans la bouche et le poisson cuit dans une croûte de citron confit, que dire sinon "c'est extra". Les vins choisis avec discussions et conseils étaient impeccables. Le service efficace et souriant. Dommage, nous estomacs étaient pleins et nous avons renoncé aux desserts. Ce sera pour la prochaine fois. Le lieu, même petit, est cosy et chaleureux à l'image des propriétaires. Ce sera notre cantine désormais. Un lieu de perfection d'où l'on ressort éblouis. Vive le 10eme arrondissement et les Arlots.
