Price / quality was great. But there was a funny smell in the corridor, as if people had been smoking a lot inside the hotel.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. We stoped over for the night after a long drive and had room with shower and toilet as almost all the rooms here don’t have it. Check in was good, quick and efficient. But when we got in to the room it was a nightmare. The smell was unbearable. We asked for the room to be changed, but they had none left. They gave us air-freshening spray which didn’t help in any way. The mattress on the bed was good, however the pillows awful, old and chunky.
If not for the odour we could have a good night sleep, instead we were waking up every hour from the stank of the room. Window were left open for whole night and the smell would not go anywhere. If we didn’t arrive at 1am. We would not have stayed here.
