Tant par la demeure, l’environnement que par l’accueil des hôtes, Henri et Vincent qui sont fort sympathiques.
Une remontée dans le temps, où nous partageons des moments de convivialités avec les autres voyageurs autour de la bonne cuisine d’Henri et du service de Fatima.
A splendid, graceful house of character sitting in the forest around Vizzavona gave us an unforgettable couple of days rest from the GR20. The front of house, Henri, aided by Fatima, gave perfect service and … the food. Wow.
Henri is a great cook and created simple but glorious dishes that even four hungry foodie hikers couldn’t finish. The food was almost entirely locally sourced and home made. Nothing was too much bother and it was genuinely one of the most pleasurable hotel stays I’ve had in 30 years of travel.
Definitely recommended.
