We loved Casa Guelfucci. We were booking accommodation as we travelled on a road trip around Corsica and were very lucky to be able to get a room at less than a day's notice. Our room, Pascal Paoli, on the second floor was quite magnificent. It was very spacious with a bedroom area and large comfortable bed and also a large lounge area. Also a bathroom complete with bath tub and the best view ever from a bath - of the citadel on top of the hill in Corte.||The rooms were very light and airy with lots of windows with spectacular views of Corte and the surrounding mountains. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We walked into Corte in the evening and had a great meal in the old part. It was a lovely 10-15 minute walk.||Breakfast was delicious and we ate it on the terrace overlooking the view of Corte and the vineyard. There were many home baked delicacies, both savoury and sweet - all were delicious. Also very nice cheese, meats, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. It was all Corsican fare. We met other guests who told us we were in the best possible room and that they usually had it!||There was a shared fridge on the ground floor which we were able to use which was a bonus as we were travelling a lot so keeping things cold was a challenge.

Séjour de deux nuits dans cette magnifique demeure au style authentique. |Reçus comme des rois par nos hôtes qui nous ont réservé des chambres tout confort et d’un calme sans pareil vous certifiant des nuits au sommeil réparateur.|Des petits déjeuners aux saveurs locales avec des produits artisanaux.|Que demander de plus.|À très vite à nouveau, nous l’espérons vivement.|Signé : des belges en goguette.

Très agréable séjour, Merci pour votre gentillesse et accueil. Très bon petit déjeuner varié et fait maison. Très bien situé à proximité à pied de Corté. On reviendra car pleins de randonnées à faire... Magnifique et reposante. De très bons restos sur Corté.

Je suis revenu acheter le même vin, pour accompagner les grillades, que l'année dernière, évidemment avec une nouvelle année et il est toujours excellent. Les patrons sont accueillants et super sympa.
