LA VIA FERRATA DE CHISA

We did this via ferrata on June 12, 2025.

First, PAYMENT IN CASH ONLY!!!

Luckily we had cash with us, but there was also a family who didn't have enough cash.

Since the organizer didn't have any way to pay by card/PayPal,
I helped the family, and they transferred me money via PayPal, and I gave them cash for payment. Luckily the village had good internet connections.
The entrance fee of 20e was quite high in my opinion.
We had our own harnesses/helmets, but we also rented a roller set for the zip line from them. It cost 3e.
So 23e per climber.

We got a good instruction before starting how to use the zip line.

It took us about 3 hours to complete the entire course. From the car, back to the car. But there was no queue in front of us, so no waiting.
Unfortunately, the last zip line section, which is over 200m long, was closed for some reason.
We have climbed ferratas in 5 different countries, this was the first in France.

The level was stated as D, I would say max C.

So I think it's a bit more demanding, but suitable even for families, if you've done a few via ferratas before.
I didn't remember to ask what time the equipment rental place was open, because when we came back it was closed, and we left the equipment outside, in the requested place.
We started climbing at about 11 am, and we were able to do most of the climbing in the shade, which was pleasant.

La personne à l'accueil est très sympathique et parcours magnifique cependant ne surtout pas utiliser de poulies speed mon conjoint s'est gravement brûlé à la nuque avec le câble de la poulie à l'arrivée de la première tyrolienne, d'autres part même avec une autre poulie ce système prévoit de s'installer avec la tête beaucoup trop près du câble. Le freinage par élastique est très limite on se prend les pieds dedant (ce qui est déjà dangereux) mais ça nous arrête à peine et pas de matelas à l'arrivée donc la paroie est prise de plein fouet résultats le cou brûlé le genou abîmé et les côtes très malmenées. Je déconseille TOUTES les tyroliennes de ce parcours tant qu'il ne sera pas revu bien dommage car tout le reste est bien pensé.

Sehr schöne Via Ferrata, top abgesichert, etwas weniger Metall hätte allerdings auch gereicht da der Fels schön griffig ist. Die Tyrolliennes sind witzig und nach der kurze Einführung am Anfang auch problemlos zu benutzen. Gut zu wissen, das Material wird nur bis 11.30 ausgegeben!
Die Ferrata ist technisch und kraftmässig nicht sehr anspruchsvoll aber definitiv nicht für Anfänger geeignet. Das Personal ist super freundlich, spricht allerdings nur französisch.

Bella ferrata sportiva , in un luogo poco frequentato. Personale esaustivo nelle spiegazioni.
Arrivare sul posto all’ apertura per evitare le ore più calde data l esposizione.
Alcuni tratti impegnativi perché esposti ma sempre ben attrezzati.
Da non considerare come prima esperienza. Personalmente non porterei i miei figli.
