We wanted to have some sea food in the old town and chose this place to try. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The seafood was incredibly fresh and full of natural flavor. What I appreciated the most was the simplicity of the dishes, there were no overpowering sauces so we could enjoy the pure taste of the sea food. Pasta looked very simple, but when I tried it I fell in love and finished it all even though I was already fool after all sea food we ate. The owner is very friendly, helped us with the menu. We didn't speak french, he didn't speak English, but we managed to laugh together. Prices are high, some will find it too high, but I think it's worth it.

Une balade en fin de journee à Bonifaccio...les terrasses vues mer nous appellent...la vue y est si spectaculaire...mais ce soir, le spectacle nous le voulons dans notre assiette..Au hasard..nous croisons Max et sa fille Margaux.,..mais quelle belle rencontre ! Max est un artiste, sa cuisine est empreinte de la corse, généreuse, pleine de saveurs, de traditions..Max est le rayon de soleil qui épice ses plats de bonne humeur, de bon'humour. Une soirée pleine d'émotion, le cœur gros de devoir repartir...merci Maxou...laurence, Chris...les Belges ????

A quiet gem of a restaurant nestled in the narrow streets of Bonifacio just opposite the entry to L'eglise Sancte Marie Majeure.A gracious witty host welcomed us and made us most comfortable with our decision to eat there. The dishes were a delicious dance on our taste buds as well as a welcome sight.
