Brilliant tour with knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, very chic tasting room at the end gave the real champagne experience

Tickets felt GREAT value, would recommend, covers both the history and ‘how to’ taste champagne. Good place to start if first time and good place for the connoisseur too

Needless to say it is classy establishment. The cellars below have a fantastic history. Out guide showed us the remnants left in there by the Romans and the medieval monks. The history of Taittinger was also fabulous to hear.

The guide we had was very knowledgeable and shared with us so many little tidbits of knowledge which we would definitely use at parties in the future.

The tasting upstairs was in a very modern chic environment, a beautiful contrast to the historical cellars below.

And again, needless to say, the Taittinger champagne tasting, which was the main event, was definitely a showstopper. We’ll be back soon!

Great experience to learn how Champagne is made. The first half is a tour of the tunnels where they store the bottles for the second fermentation to add the bubbles. The tunnels are several Kilometers long and the oldest tunnels were built by the Romans. At this location, only about 5% of their production is stored here and there must be millions of bottles. Very impressive. Next is the Champagne tasting. We had 3 unique tastings with very generous pours. The tasting room was a large private room with very comfortable couch chairs and decorative champagne memorabilia throughout the room. Highly recommended for novice or experienced Champagne drinkers.
