BEST WESTERN PREMIER HOTEL DE LA PAIX ^{* * * *}

Left my precious Kindle and the page turner in my hotel. So simple to fill out the form from peek’in and have it sent. Peek’in service is a little expensive, but it’s like a punishment for being forgetful!
The hotel was fantastic. Great service, the room was spotless, restaurant was excellent, and the staff was friendly and really helpful. Location is the best. Right in the middle of everything. Will stay there again for sure.

The location is great, city center. Small sports room to practice biking or jogging, and some push up exercises, swimming pool & sauna, but quite relaxing. The rooms are ok but not enough hooks in the bathroom to put on the towels. Only 1 peignoir, 1 very small water bottle in the room i/o 2. No spoons, no tea no sugar. Only coffee but they leave you a kettle, you need to bring your own tea bags / sugar. It's impossible to eat up anything, even a yoghurt in your room, no covers. The beds and pillows are ok not too hard or too soft, quite comfortable. You can choose a higher or lower pillow. The personnel was available and polite.
The hotel is quite busy, there are a lot of conference / meeting / seminar halls and rooms and different people come in and out. There is also a bar and a restaurant and again it's quite busy.
The rooms and the room entry doors are not soundproof at all. You can hear everything that happens in the upper or neighbouring rooms, especially contact sounds, and obviously you hear the cleaners cleaning the rooms quite loudly. People start making noises around 7am in the morning, so unless you are not sensitive to very loud sounds of moving luggage, shutting doors, etc , you will wake up.
Also, do not recommend taking a room near the lift as you will have the lift noise there all the time. Even in a room situated 3 rooms farther from the lift, you can hear it. Same for Rooms near the stairs, cleaner's rooms, etc. Obviously, I do not recommend having your room facing the street. Also, some people complained about noises coming from the restaurant/ bar terrace that is situated in the inner courtyard, so do not recommend having a room facing directly the restaurant terrace either. It largely reduces the number of 'quite' rooms in the hotel, you need to ask for a room facing the inner courtyard but not the terrace, far from the lift & stairs, although as I said you will still hear noises from the neighbouring rooms & the hall. So the soundproofing is really poor.
I would say that Accor hôtels of the same level propose a better room quality and more room facilities / services.

Sois avec une douche, sois avec une baignoire et une douche ou sois qu'une baignoire.|Par contre, nous avons eu quelques problèmes lors de la réservation pour accéder au prix promotionnel. Il a fallu remuer ciel et terre pour enfin avoir des chambres libres au bon prix indiqué. Cela a été très pénible. Mais en vain, cela a été résolu sans compensation.|La disponibilité des chambres à l'arrivée est à partir de 15h. Cela n'est pas génial.|La piscine est moyennement bien puisqu'elle est relativement petite et avec température d'eau fraîche.|Malgré tout, je recommande l'hôtel pour un séjour agréable.

Voici un bel établissement, idéalement placé et proche de la gare. Service impeccable abec un personnel attentionné, disponible. Les chambres, 9eme étage, sont impeccables, vastes et calmes. Le petit déjeuner est agréable et la revue de presse matinale est une très belle idée. Le bar est très sympa et le choix de boisson est vaste. Vraiment une belle expérience!
