This is in reference to room 302: the only way to turn off the main lights is at the corridor, by the door. The room is too dark, so you need to turn on everything pointing up towards the white ceiling to get some decent illumination at night. The shower box isn't sealed and the whole bathroom takes a shower with you. The shower drain is clogged, so if you don't put towels where the box should be, the water invades the bathroom. At the restaurant, the waiters at the bar will keep talking to each other and never ask if you need something. You have to interrupt them to ask for something. They won't even look at you. It's like you don't exist right in front of them.

No air conditioning and it’s extremely warm, the receptionist was extremely unhelpful. When I asked why the air is not cooling I was told it’s still winter in France when it’s nearly 28 degrees in the suite which is there top room. Asked for parking I was told we are fully booked when there were spaces. I drove for eight hours with kids and booked holiday inn (not express) so I can get good sleep. She offered fan initially but than said sorry I couldn’t find one. Got on phone with complaints team and suddenly vola we have a fan.

Very poor service ice do not recommend staying here. I will take this further and update this review after speaking with IHG

Très satisfaits de notre séjour dans votre établissement. Nous n'avons rencontré que des personnes très professionnelles. Très bien reçus dès notre arrivée par 2 réceptionnistes très à l'écoute et disponibles : aussi bien pour l'accueil de jour et de nuit que pour le restorant.
Cependant, difficulté à utiliser le parking à tout moment.
Dommage, que ayons été obligés de changer de chambre pour la 2ème nuit

Het was een goede locatie met nette kamer en ontbijt was in orde en personeel vriendelijk en correct, alles was verzorgd en mini bar was ook aangevuld en de garage met parking was ook gemakkelijk, alles was op wandel afstand met de winkels en restaurants in de buurt en ook een leuke oester bar op de hoek van het straat.|Prijs kwaliteit was goed

We stayed at the Holiday Inn, Reims for two nights while exploring the city. The hotel was well appointed and the room itself was lovely, though a little warm. Unfortunately, we couldn’t open the window due to a nightclub (La Loge) directly opposite, which played loud music with outdoor seating until 5am – making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. On our second morning, there was no hot water, which was inconvenient, though the reception staff were apologetic. The glass lift could also use a bit of a refresh. That said, the overall stay was pleasant and the hotel served as a good base for seeing Reims.
