I was looking for a good lunch in Reims, and picked Le Millénaire because of their star. Having eaten at many one star restaurants before, sometimes I come away thinking "that was a good restaurant" and sometimes I come away thinking "oh I GET why they got a star". Le Millénaire falls into the latter category. The service was excellent, both in terms of professionalism, but also personable. The food was uniformly wonderful, and you would be hard pressed to find a better way to spend an afternoon, or money better spent than a lunch here.

Exceptional experience from beginning to end. Don't miss the Langoustine and the Beef Caviar. Vegetarian menu available.

The food was good, sometimes overdone (bit too complicated), the service was bad and way too formal, the atmosphere was lacking any style. Overall a good one but could be improved with minor effort.
