We stayed here as a stop off when driving south, and it was everything we needed from a campsite. Great value, really friendly and easy check in, a flat pitch and great showering facilities with hot water. There is also a running track next door to the campsite which you are allowed to use, and the walk along the canal is nice. There is a supermarket 3 min drive away

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this campsite & sadly this will be the last. ||Positives: good location for exploring local champagne houses & Reims. We cycled to Épernay train station & took bikes on the train to Reims which was a pleasant day out. Facilities are kept clean. On site bar & restaurant is ok in nice setting. ||Negatives: the site is very busy in summer & you pitches are relatively small & hemmed in. We were unfortunately located next to a large family who were very noisy until the early hours. Not usually a problem but caravans & motorhomes are so packed in that they were sitting just a couple of feet from our camper window. The site is very popular with families so you won’t have a peaceful stay.

Our third visit in our Motorhome to this excellent site next to the river and walking distance to the centre of Epernay. You can hire a boat or canoe on the river and there are cycle paths close by. The “pop up” riverside restaurant is a real bonus. Ideal stop off on way to the south east of France and beyond from the channel ferry ports.
