Unbelievable experience. My wife and I stayed here one night to have tasting with HG and to visit some other houses in Ay. I wish we would have stayed here longer and frankly, we didn’t need to go elsewhere for tastings.
First, when we arrived we were very warmly welcomed and of course, offered a glass of champagne. Turns out, we were the only one staying at HG and had the house/ hotel to ourselves. What a treat! The rooms are amazing and the service was unreal.
We then made sure to do the full tasting/ dinner and it somehow surpassed even the highest expectations. Ebby at HG hosted us and we had so much fun and enjoyed the food and the wine so much. I cannot recommend enough that you reserve the dinner/ tasting experience. It honestly ruined our visits to other nearby houses because there was no way they could have impressed the way Ebby and HG did. This is probably a good time to mention that if you have not tried Henri Giraud champagne, stop reading and go find a bottle immediately.
The following morning they served us breakfast via room service and of course, it was exceptional (and a lot of food). We honestly did not want to leave. I’m writing this review the next day and so I’m still thinking about it, but I can’t remember a stay at any hotel anywhere in the world where we were so warmly welcomed and the service/ rooms were so so good. You really must visit HG and we cannot wait to come back.

Un cocon de bienveillance, de convivialité, de bien-être, de luxe et de savoir-faire : chaque expérience était juste parfaite ! Le spa avec son hammam accompagné de son infusion maison, la chambre à couper le souffle où rien ne manque, la visite de la cave et la soirée dégustation animés par Lise que nous n’oublierons jamais, et pour finir en douceur le lendemain, un soin à la craie avec bain et massage, là encore parfait grâce aux doigts de fées d’Alexandra.
Ce week-end bien-être en Champagne était juste parfait !
