Our guide was top notch. She speaks German, English and French. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the abbey. She gets five stars. Almost nothing remains of the medieval compound but she gave us a very good sense of the place and history. I wanted more of the church and monastery history. The story of the prison is as sad chapter in the history of a remarkable place.

Guide passionnante. Lieu tres chargé d'histoire entre univers monacal et carcéral. Le temps s'y est arrêté. Site inspirant a exploiter pour y tourner des films

Toute une partie de l'abbaye n'est pas accessible pendant la durée des travaux (prison). Pas d'infos avant d'être devant le fait accompli... Pas grand chose à voir. La rénovation n'a pas laissé les lieux dans un état passé pour se projeter.
